Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering, Technology and Research has a well-maintained campus with modern classrooms, computer laboratories, a central library, Wi-Fi facilities, hostels, and sports amenities. ! found the learning environment comfortable, although some computer labs could benefit from more frequent hardware and software upgrades.
Academics
The B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering gave me a solid understanding of programming, data structures, operating systems, databases, and software engineering. The faculty members were approachable and encouraged participation in coding contests and technical projects. However, I felt that the curriculum could have included more training on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and DevOps.
Placements
Placements were satisfactory, especially for students who had good coding skills and completed internships. IT companies regularly visited the campus, but the highest salary packages were secured by a limited number of students not all students got the placement because there were no good companies.
Campus Life
Campus life was active and enjoyable. I participated in hackathons, technical fests, cultural events, sports competitions, and student club activities. The friendly atmosphere made it easy to build connections and learn from classmates, although academic schedules could become quite demanding during examinations.

As faculty are highly experienced in srkr engineering college, academically the teaching was awesome.Everyone can understand the syllabus very easily.They support us and motivate us through academics and everything. Yes I think the curriculum was updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.

As of now due to the job market is decreasing day by day , placement rate is slightly low. Product based companies like Google,amazon,flipkart offers are not coming. Only service based companies offers are coming as of now. Around 60% of students were placed I guess. This year highest package is 19 lakhs for aids only.average salary was around 4 lakhs nearly.

Infrastructure is kinda decent. The CSE labs are well and the PCs don't lag as much while running heavy code. Wifi is present but it's a bit unstable near the canteen area. Classrooms are big but the lighting is low. The hostel needs more cleaning

I choose CSE because of the popularity and the career opportunities but it now feels like a rat race. The tution here is unpredictable only few teachers are good but most of them only focous on assignments and projects. KIT is autonomous so the syllabus is well aligned and yes I think it makes me job ready

As compared to other colleges in my city and area our college placements are good for CSE and other IT branches. Average Salary student can expect is around 4.5 to 5 LPA Highest package reached till 13 to 15 LPA. And yeah college is suppoting atleast for our branch
