Civil engineering deals with the planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance and research of fixed structures and infrastructures such as buildings, highways, bridges, railroads, tunnels, dams and airports. Civil engineering also deals with solutions to problems involving traffic, water supply, sewer, flood control, and the environment. It is one of the broadest and oldest of the engineering disciplines, extending across many technical specialties. A civil engineer requires not only a high standard of engineering knowledge but also supervisory and administrative skills. Civil Engineers plan, design, and supervise the construction of facilities essential to modern life needs. A civil engineer is responsible for planning and designing a project, constructing the project to the required scale, and maintenance of it.

Eligibility Criteria
- The minimum qualification for admission to first year of the B.Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate education, Govt. of Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.
- 70% of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the Telangana Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy (Veterinary etc.,) Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET) conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
- 30% of the seats are earmarked for Management / NRI candidates, filled based on merit as per the guidelines of TGCHE, Hyderabad
- In addition to the above, 10% of the seats on convener quota are admitted under EWS category
- In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in second year of B.Tech to the extent of 10% of intake based on the merit in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET), under lateral entry scheme conducted by Govt. of Telangana.

Admissions to the Institute are made along with the other engineering colleges in the state through a common entrance test conducted by the Govt. of Telangana.

- 30% of the seats are earmarked for Management / NRI candidates.

College Infrastructure
I am proud to be an alumnus of the Institute of Aeronautical Engineering. My time at the college was a valuable learning experience that helped me grow both academically and professionally. The faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and always encourage students to develop practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge. The institute provides good infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories, modern classrooms, and a peaceful learning environment. Various technical events, workshops, seminars, and industry interactions help students gain exposure to real-world engineering practices. The curriculum is designed to strengthen technical knowledge while also improving problem-solving and analytical skills. The placement cell actively supports students through training sessions, aptitude preparation, mock interviews, and career guidance. The college also promotes extracurricular activities, leadership, and teamwork, helping students develop confidence and communication skills. As a Civil Engineering graduate, I gained a strong foundation in engineering concepts that has helped me in my professional career. The college has excellent infrastructure with spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a digital library, high-speed Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, seminar halls, sports facilities, and clean surroundings. The campus is well maintained, and the management regularly upgrades the facilities. Students have access to all the resources needed for academics, research, and extracurricular activities.
