Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by AICTE and offered by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad

Civil engineering deals with the planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance and research of fixed structures and infrastructures such as buildings, highways, bridges, railroads, tunnels, dams and airports. Civil engineering also deals with solutions to problems involving traffic, water supply, sewer, flood control, and the environment. It is one of the broadest and oldest of the engineering disciplines, extending across many technical specialties. A civil engineer requires not only a high standard of engineering knowledge but also supervisory and administrative skills. Civil Engineers plan, design, and supervise the construction of facilities essential to modern life needs. A civil engineer is responsible for planning and designing a project, constructing the project to the required scale, and maintenance of it.

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum qualification for admission to first year of the B.Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate education, Govt. of Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.
- 70% of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the Telangana Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy (Veterinary etc.,) Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET) conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
- 30% of the seats are earmarked for Management / NRI candidates, filled based on merit as per the guidelines of TGCHE, Hyderabad
- In addition to the above, 10% of the seats on convener quota are admitted under EWS category
- In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in second year of B.Tech to the extent of 10% of intake based on the merit in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET), under lateral entry scheme conducted by Govt. of Telangana.

Admission Details

Admissions to the Institute are made along with the other engineering colleges in the state through a common entrance test conducted by the Govt. of Telangana.

70% of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
30% of the seats are earmarked for Management / NRI candidates.

College Infrastructure

My college has all the necessary facilities and good infrastructure, but lacks in some equipments which results in sharing the equipment between students. Our college has an IT park, innovation centre, a big library, labs,etc... but lacks a playground. The hostels are good and food is hygienic. They provide wifi in hostels so , there is no need to worry about internet. Even our college provides high speed wifi to students in campus.

classrooms are well equipped with air conditioning facility with digital boards in every classroom.IARE also gives free wifi all over the campus. labs are pretty equipped here and also have latest lab equipments .Sports are pretty good encouraged in our campus.
