University of Mumbai, Thane Sub Campus. University of Mumbai, Thane Sub Campus was established in 2014 as one of the newest affiliates of the well-known university, the University of Mumbai. This co-educational institute is situated in Thane, Maharashtra, covering a campus area of 6 acres. The sub-campus has approval by the Bar Council of India, BCI. With 6 members on the faculty strength, the campus provides a focused learning environment.

The Thane Sub Campus provides a variety of facilities to complement student life. The campus library was planned as an instant knowledge centre meant to assist students with needed resources for such academic endeavours. Keeping in step with the modern world, the institute invested in an excellent IT infrastructure to make modern technology accessible to students for study purposes. For the physically fit, there exist sports facilities and a well-equipped gymnasium. For the law students, there is a Moot Court facility differing from the rest; it helps one gain practical exposure to the real courtroom procedures. The process of admission at the University of Mumbai, Thane Sub Campus differs from course to course. This programme has admissions done through CAP Round Merit List. The admissions to the BMS MBA, however are dependent on the All India Merit Rank of the Mumbai University Common Management Entrance Test, commonly known as MUCMET.
