The classrooms have ACs and smartboards for fast learning. The library has a policy of giving books for 2 weeks without any charges. The hostels have laundry, mess, housekeeping services, emergency medical room, etc. The food quality in the hostel mess is decent, and 4 meals are provided. The campus has sports facilities like a basketball court, a huge football ground, a cricket ground, and various badminton courts. There is also a gym on campus.
Academics
Professors are helpful and work diligently to get our research papers published. Most of them are from NITs, and some are from IITs. The course curriculum is regularly updated to match industry standards. There are soft skills training classes and DSA boot camps to make students industry-ready. The semester exams are of medium difficulty. The pass percentage is around 98%.
Placements
Around 77% of students get placed in my course. In the academic year 2025–26. The highest package is 1.6 crore, the lowest is 3.2 LPA, and the average package is 5–6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, HCL, Three Meadows, Samsung, and Garuda UAV. Around 60% of students get internships at companies like UBI, Amazon, OneBanc, etc. The top roles in my course include SDE, Business Analyst, Data Scientist, Front-End Developer, etc.

Infrastructure is very poor. We don't had wifi, labs were not maintained and were very dirty. We had library , sport centres and hostels. We don't had smart board. Living spaces were also dirty and unhygienic.

I was studying BSc. Teachers' were not interested to teach. Students go to college only in exams. Practicals were also very poor. No practical knowledge was given. Teachers' don't even care about the students hard work and their future.

No placement is given to students. Neither students nor teachers care about the placements. If anyone wants to get placed he or she have to do everything on his own. Not a single company hires from here.

My campus life was very poor. We don't get any type of activities to get involved. People choose saket intentionally so that they don't have to take classes and do anything.

My overall experience at this college has been good. The campus has proper infrastructure with spacious classroom.wifi, smart board . And the classroom are clean . The placement at the college is decent arround 50-60% of students get place each year . Companies comes for jobs like software and supportive rule. Some students get internship first. Salary is avarage but good for freshers.and yes, our college is supportive.

IIT Jammu’s PhD Bio Sciences got nice infra. Labs modern with cell culture, gene sequencing tools, supports research well. Library stocked, fast wifi campus wide. AC classrooms, smart boards. Hostels clean, small rooms. Scenic hills, but some areas under construction. Gym basic, sports field okay.

PhD Bioengineering academics solid, focus research. Faculty from top unis, guide on biotech, bioinformatics. Courses cover advanced topics, seminars weekly. Started 2021, so less course variety. My protein study funded well. Strict thesis reviews, peers push you. Prepares for global labs.

Placements for PhD Biosciences average. Most go postdoc abroad or research jobs, like in pharma. Salaries 8-12 LPA for industry, few offers. No big placement drives, but faculty help network. I got US fellowship. About 60% placed quick, rest study more. Academic path best.

IIT Jammu campus life chill, small community. Mountains make it peaceful, good for study. Few clubs, bio and tech, small fests fun. Mess food decent, veg heavy. Strict rules, no late nights. Sports like cricket active. Safe, cozy, but more activities needed.

Around 60 to 75% of our students got internships at Qualcomm and Bosch India. Top roles include network engineer and VLSI design designer.

The teaching faculty in the MCA department are hardworking and expert in their subjects. the course curriculum needs to be more aligned with the latest trends in the industry. Semester exams are challenging, but through consistent preparation, they are achievable.

Placement from Galgotia's University is Impressive. The most selected package during the previous year was approximately ₹19 LPA, although that may have been possibly from off-campus drive. The average package is near ₹3 LPA.
For B.Pharma Placements are less and campus life ais boring

MIET has a well-maintained pharmacy building and supply for laboratories which are sufficient for the basic practicals of pharmaceutics, pharmacology, and chemistry. The hostels are good but a little expensive and food in the mess is mediocre.

Teachers are very good at simplifying the concepts and pushing students towards research projects, whereas a few resort to the regular teaching only. The curriculum is updated as per PCI norms but there is very little practical exposure in the industry. The hard side of the exams can be lowered as far as they are manageable with the regular attendance of the classes
Placements
A limited number of students get placements in pharma marketing firms or small-scale manufacturing companies like Akums, Mankind, and Alembic, the majority of students are either engaged in the preparation of higher studies (M.Pharm, MBA, GPAT) or are job hunting off-campus.

College has good staff, and the labs are well-maintained, though classrooms are not that good. The canteen is good for girls, but there's no space in the boys' section. There are no medical facilities, and only one basketball court for sports. The college does provide many indoor games, and they rent big grounds for sports events.

Teachers are highly educated and well-experienced, with excellent teaching skills. Exams are pretty tough, and no copying is allowed. Students who are regular become industry-ready by the end of the course. Many teachers hold a Ph.D., which is a well-known degree.

Top companies that recruit are Infosys and Concentrix, but they primarily offer internships based on students' skills, and not as many placements as expected. The roles offered are mainly in Data Science or database-related, and coding-related jobs like web development, etc.

VIT Vellore’s M.Tech Biotech has awesome infrastructure. Labs got latest equipment like PCR, bioreactors, makes practicals smooth. Library huge, tons of books, fast wifi. AC classrooms with smart boards. Hostels clean, but summer water shortage. Mess food okay, sports ground big.

M.Tech Biotech academics at VIT is good. Teachers mostly PhDs, explain genetics, bioprocess clear. FFCS lets pick timings, cool system. But some lectures boring, exams tough. Research projects nice, I worked on enzymes. Strict 75% attendance, no skip. Learn if work hard.
Placements
Placements for M.Tech Biotech okay, not great. Around 50% get jobs, like Biocon, Serum Institute. Roles research or quality, pay 4-6 LPA, max 12 LPA. Less companies for biotech. Training helps, but many do PhD or off-campus jobs. Network key for success.

Campus life at VIT super fun. Clubs for dance, biotech, tech, over 70. Riviera fest big, celebs perform. Diverse friends, food courts nice. Strict rules, 9pm curfew girls, humid weather. Sports active, I played volleyball. Safe but isolated spots scary night

Infrastructure is good, and labs and classrooms are good. The food was also at a reasonable price in the canteen. The hostel fee is more than expected, and the food is average. Wi-Fi is not available in college, but the library is there. Overall, it is a good place to study.

All the teachers don't follow the structure of the syllabus, and they will not make students industry-ready. Especially is not good because they keep every semester within 3 months as they have to complete it in 5 months. Because of this, students will get less time and complete the year within 6-7 months.

Only training institutes came to the college, and no other companies visited except Accenture. Our batch was the last one in the 2025 scheme, with a lack of placements. We are not satisfied with the college, and only a few students got placed in training institutes.

My course/department facilities are so good, high-speed Wi-fi is always available, and labs are so clean with air conditioning and advanced computers, overall, all good. Classrooms are average because the classroom is clean, but no AC, only fans, and the library is so good, all my course-related books are always available. My hostel medical facilities were bad, but sports and games were all good, and canteen and mess were excellent.

50% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 40,000 rupees, the average package is 35,000 rupees, and the lowest package is 30,000 rupees in my course. My course is recruited by top companies, such as TCS, Wipro, etc. 20 percent of students got an internship from my course, and at TCS. In my course, the top role is computer operator.

Around 85% of students will be offered placements. The highest salary package offered was 18 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA, from what we know. Microsoft, IBM, Google, and TCS are among the recruiters. Various internship opportunities are available during the course, but a good CGPA is required to enroll. Many competitive programs and hackathons also take place.
