The course is open to candidates with a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university in India and abroad, with at least 50% marks. Public health being a muldisplinary area, students from varied academic backgrounds e.g; medical, dental, physiotherapy, AYUSH, nursing and paramedical sciences, veterinary sciences, management, natural sciences (including biology), social sciences and social work, engineering, law, commerce or accounting, communication, etc. can apply. Relevant work experience in the health and development sector will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
1. Any applicant with qualification of M.B.B.S Degree / B.D.S (Dental) / B.E.,/B.Tech,(Any Branch), (B.Sc. (Nursing) / B.V.Sc. (Veterinary Science) / AYUSH / Allied Health or Social Sciences of any recognized University/ Statutory Body, in the first attempt with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
2. TWO years of completed work experience in the public health system is desirable.
3. Medical/ Nursing Graduates should have registered with their respective state Registration Council.
