Group Theory Methods In Physics

The Group Theory Methods In Physics Training course will provide the candidate an understanding of basic group theory methods in physics within a systematic manner. The course will cover the topics like Mulliken notation, great orthogonality theorem, and character tables, root vector diagrams, conjugacy classes, and unitary groups, subgroups and generators, weight vector diagrams, and basic introduction to discrete groups, su(2), su(3).

The Group Theory Methods In Physics Programme will be having an instructor from IIT Bombay where the course e-certificate will be provided to candidates with the logo of NPTEL and IIT Bombay. The duration will be 12 weeks with online learning.

The participants' Group Theory Methods In Physics by Swayam will provide the candidate to go in-depth knowledge of orthogonal groups and lie algebra with continuous groups, generators, Lorentz transformation and quark model, su(3) baryons, mesons, Wigner-Eckart theorem, a hydrogen atom, dynamical symmetry. Introduction to Astrophysical Fluids

The Introduction to Astrophysical Fluids program is an elective course under the discipline of Physics. This AICTE approved FDP course will be held for 12 weeks and instructed by Prof Supratik Banerjee. The course is suitable for students pursuing any advanced UG or PG degrees.

The domain discussed in the Introduction to Astrophysical Fluids certification course has been under active research for the past 70 years. Introduction to Atmospheric and Space Sciences

Designed by IIT Roorkee, the Introduction to Atmospheric and Space Sciences online course features their professor, MV Sunil Krishna, as the program instructor. The curriculum will span over 12 weeks and is divided into 60 presentations, each around 30 minutes long. This elective training will deal with the Earth’s atmosphere and space physics.

The Introduction to Atmospheric and Space Sciences certification is appropriate for students at the graduate and postgraduate level, covering aspects about the Earth’s atmospheric evolution and the chemical and physical reasons behind weather and climate changes.
