Alagappa University Karaikudi provides separate hostel facilities for boys. The boys hostel is well-equipped with modern facilities for the benefits of the students. Facilities of the boys hostels  include wifi-access, power and water supply, among other things. The hostels also have common rooms that are supplied with daily newspapers.

The university has a separate hostel for girls. The hostels are kept under CCTV camera surveillance so that the security of the students is kept under check.  The hostel also has a common room which houses the television with dish connection.

The university has medical facilities available on the campus for all. Regular medical treatment for all the University members  from 9.30 am to 6 pm is provided by a medical officer and a staff nurse. 24*7 services are also provided by them during emergency situations. Free medicines are also made available to students and staff.

The university has an indoor gym facility that helps the students in keeping their health and fitness in check

The university has a well-equipped library with a large seating capacity. The Library houses printed books, printed periodicals subscriptions, non-book materials, printed volumes of theses, among other reading materials. The library also has access to online journals and e-theses. Reading materials from almost all disciplines are available in the library for the students.

Alagappa University Karaikudi has a well-equipped sports complex with indoor stadium and synthetic tracks for the benefits of the students.

The university has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.        

Alagappa university facilities also include a cafeteria that serves tasty and healthy food for the students at reasonable rates. Students also have access to a dining hall which is a common eating area for them.

The university has an auditorium or what is commonly known as the Convocation hall,that has an air conditioner, lighting arrangements, generator system of 250 KVA, acoustics systems and a comfortable seating arrangement. The auditorium is used to host a variety of seminars, guest lecturers and a variety of cultural programmes for the students.

The Alagu Alumni Association is formed in the University for the academic, professional and career enhancement of students and create needed infrastructure facilities in the University for the use of students, university and public at large.

Alagappa University provides 24*7 Wi-Fi  and internet to its students.

There are three Guest Houses available in the Alagappa University campus, namely - University Main Guest House, International Students Residence and Faculty Guest House. These guest houses have several in-house facilities like telephone with intercom facility, Wi-Fi connectivity, computer with Internet facility and 24-Hours room service.

The institution has a convenience store at the campus. The convenience store provides stationery items such as pen, paper, pen drives etc for the students.
