24 MonthsMaster of Physical Education is a full-time two-year postgraduate course degree and it is offered by Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar. The duration of the course shall be two academic years with four semesters under the Choice Based Credit System The total working days shall not be less than 200 days in an Academic year. Each semester consists of not less than 100 working days excluding examination.
Eligibility Criteria
- A Candidate for admission to the Master of Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) degree program should have passed B.P.Ed. examination of this University and/or from any other University recognized as equivalent thereto in 10+2+3+2 pattern. They must have represented, College / University / State in any one of the games or sports, subject to the conditions that he/she must be medically fit and free from any deformities.
- The candidates should not have completed 34 years of age as on 1st July. However, the relaxation of 2 years (36 years) may be given for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen / Experienced Physical Education Teachers / Widow / Destitute should be medically fit and free from any deformity.
- The pregnant women will not be permitted either for admission or to undergo the program
- 40 candidates will be selected on the basis of merit, following the regulation of seats as prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu, from among these candidates who score not less then 50% of marks in the selection tests.
Admission Details
Admission shall be made on the basis Qualifying Examination/Sports and Games participation/Games and Sports skill test/Written Test and Personal Interview.

College Infrastructure
Yea the college infrastructure is good. And have all facilities inside campus. But the public transport was not frequent. Have hostel facilities but not in a good maintenance. Gives importance to sports
