Emversity’s Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science (Honours with Research) is a four-year undergraduate programme designed to develop scientifically trained, ethically responsible, and research-oriented forensic professionals. The programme integrates fundamental sciences with specialized forensic disciplines to enable students to apply scientific principles to the investigation of crime and the administration of justice. The programme emphasizes multidisciplinary learning, experiential exposure, skill development, and a strong research foundation. 

• Provide a strong foundation in basic and applied sciences relevant to forensic investigation, including biology, chemistry, physics, and law.
• Develop professional competence in forensic science disciplines such as crime scene investigation, forensic biology, chemistry, toxicology, questioned documents, and digital forensics.
• Integrate theory with practical and experiential learning through laboratory work, field exposure, internships, and case-based learning.
• Foster research aptitude and scientific inquiry by training students in research methodology, data analysis, ethics, and scholarly writing.
• Promote ethical, legal, and professional responsibility in the collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of forensic evidence.
