MA Development Studies at CUSB Offline Course

This is a two-year full-time postgraduate course of Central University of South Bihar, Patna

The two year (four semesters) Post Graduate Programme prepares students for higher research degree as well as for professional careers in the area of both governmental and nongovernmental organisations. In addition to regular course work and research, an internship directly related to their studies provides an opportunity to integrate theory with practice. This component of the course allows students to engage with national and international development agencies, academic institutions, non-governmental organisations, policy think tank, corporate organisations, and research/training institutions. The internship programme imparts field specific skills among the students, enabling them to understand development issues comprehensively. They are also encouraged to organise/participate in the programmes based cultural activities, panel discussions on development issues and job placement opportunities.
