72 MonthsThe Ph.D. course aims to develop a dynamic researcher which enables them to adapt according to the ever-changing needs in the field of computer science in the years to come. The competencies inculcated during the course can be transferred to other disciplines to enrich the content of various disciplines. Technology has become a need of the hour; it touches every sphere of human life in the 21st century. Comprehending the knowledge of computers enables the researcher to adapt to ever-changing nature in the field of computer science. The main objective of the program is to develop disciplined computer professionals to find out new areas for innovations and make them self-reliant.
Fees - 30000/- Par year + Admission Registration fee of INR 5000/ (Non-Refundable)
Eligibility Criteria
The minimum eligibility of candidates intending to pursue a doctoral programme is a pass with a minimum of 55% in a postgraduate programme and MPhil. The students who have cleared UGC-CSIR NET/JRF examination or SLET/GATE examinations and also the students who have worked as JRF for one year in the externally funded major research projects may be exempted from MPhil requirement. In the case of internally funded major research projects (MRP), the students may be exempted from MPhil requirement after two years of research experience. Under certain conditions such as the presence of high impact publications students with a high academic performance at the postgraduate level, may be admitted directly to a Ph.D. programme.
Admission Details
Admissions are done on the basis of Christ University Entrance Test, Skill Assessment, Academic Performance (Assessment of past performance in Degree and MPhil and the research proposal during the Personal Interview), and Personal interview.
