Good college infrastructure with beautiful and huge outdoor space along with proper library, canteens and well equipped classrooms. Living spaces are maintained properly and the food is absolutely hygienic and well prepared.

Faculties are supportive and engaging and also the college offers wide range of courses in all the fields like science, humanities, commerce etc. Since it is one of the oldest colleges in Assam, it stands strong as an epitome of good service and quality education.

Average to decent placements but students mostly go for higher education as it offers great networks for research and masters. Since, it is a completely government funded institution, it has a good brand name when it comes to placements.

100% worth the money spent as it is in the heart of the city, has access to many other colleges, offers good courses with minimal fee.

Amazing college life as this college not only focuses on academics but also on overall holistic development of a student, ranging from academic excellence to social proficiency. General election rallies, inter college national level fests etc are the biggest attractions.

Cotton University is one of the renowned college of Assam . Its is clean and green campus.It has a library and multiple auditorim for the students for the various programmes for both cultural and any technical events .

I have completed my masters in zoology in the year 2022. It was a great experience and really thankful to all the teachers of the college.I feel really proud to be a student of the college.The teaching quality is really great.

The training and placement cell offers interns and reasearch under the professors .But there is no placement of the students and the companies donot approaches to the college for the recruitment of the students.

Cotton University has all the essential infrastructure and facilities. During my time, the college has only normal boards but it is improved and it has projectors.It also includes sports complex and library. The hostels are hygenic and well maintained.

The quality of placement is awesome.The professors are helpful and highly qualified.The curriculum of the college includes all the updated and recent developments.College also took field visits for the development of students.

The quality of placements is poor.It has a placement cell but most of the students went for higher studies.The college offers internships for the students and also offer reasearch internships under the professors guidance

Infrastructure is good and improving every year, but the campus is open. So, sometimes you are gonna miss the opportunity of being in a close campus. You may love it also as you are exposed to most beautiful part of Guwahati.

Academics is very good. The curriculum is rigorous and updated. Many of my batchmates and seniors are in very good places for higher studies. The teachers are very good and friendly. You can approach them and they are very willing to help everyone.

If you are someone looking for placement then Cotton is not a place you want to be in. There is not at all placement. The entire focus is on academics. Though there is no placement but most of the students crack various competitive exams.

I can't remember the exact amount as it was too low. It's as low as 10000 per year or even less. Yes you are going to get your money's worth and not going to regret your decision of joining Cotton, the best place in Assam to be.

Campus life or you can say the life as a student of cotton is the best time I ever experienced. You are gonna miss those days for your entire life. Students, teachers, support staff all are friendly. It's way to safe.

Established in 1901 as cotton college, over the years it has evolved into a full fledged university. It is located in the state of Assam. The campus is so beautiful and green. Our classrooms now have digital boards which were not there couple of years back. This beautiful campus has facilities like hostel, library, sports facilities and recreational spots for students. There is a canteen as well which has different varieties of north eastern cuisine.

The university's academic programs are diverse and comprehensive, covering a wide range of disciplines including arts, sciences and commerce. This breadth allows students to pursue their passion and find their own path towards intellectual growth. I am currently pursuing MA in economics which a very demanding course at the university. Our curriculum is prepared by very experienced academicians who has served on the board of UGC. All the teachers are experienced.

Average package after completing masters is 6,00,000 per annum. 60% of the students graduated get different placement opportunities. The university's placement cell works tirelessly to bridge the gap between students and the corporate world. Right from the beginning of our academic journey, the university emphasized the importance of gaining practical exposure and skills. The placement process is well organized and and streamlined. Various companies visit the campus to conduct placement drives.

The department of MJMS of my university is covered with greenery all around with coffee house in the front yard. The greenery makes the place soothing for students to have a good time. It is an open university for students with humanities and science subjects. The facilities include various basic Ammenties aided by the state government.

I'm from department of MJMS, CU. The curriculum includes all the specifications and is a package of practical and theoretical learning. However, the professors from my department rely more on what's happening around us rather that what went by. They believe in practical perspective with a modern outreach.

Since I haven't been through this part of the university I lack knowledge on the basics of placement. However, as heard from the seniors and pass out the university has a placement cell in the campus and coming to the department, yes it promotes internship and job opportunities with various media houses.

The fees for MJMS is self financing. I believe it's economical for students with every background. The admission fees was 7,500 and 16,000 for every semester which is quite minimum for a college so prestigious.

The university is located at the heart of the Guwahati city. The transportation price via bus is not more than 10 rs for students coming from different areas of the city. Talking about the campus life, it's really fun to interact with students all over the North East. The university conducts various fests. However, due to the pandemic I could witness only a music fest back in February. The department is really active and promotes interaction with various public figures which is really amazing!

It does have the required facilities but not at the utmost level. The living spaces lack hygiene. There is no WiFi facility. Moreover the library lacks prominent books for the students. Hostels are unhygienic.

I am pursuing BA Economics. I have opted this as my major subject so that i can contribute my knowledge for the economy of the nation.. So when it comes to our teaching facilities, it lacks rigidity and interactions. There hasn't been any update in curriculum. Nope it doesn't make us job ready.

Till now I am not sure about the placements. Moreover I haven't heard about any placements.. It ll be good if the management arranges such beneficial packages for the students... Students would be more active regarding the placements..

Our course had cost ₹5000 per year.. It's not worth money.

The campus is eco friendly..the university has prominently separate buildings for sports, cultural and literary events. It's lies in the main hub of the city.. The students face the problem of noise pollution while attending classes.

CU classrooms have projector facilities,boards,smartboards,etc. As I am a pol sc student I never used any kind of laboratories.Libraries,sport centres have all the necessary items and they are well maintained.But hostels are not well maintained and don't have any WiFi service.WiFi is available only inside the main building.

Pursuing MA in pol sc because I have always wanted to sit for civil service exams.The quality of teaching differs from person to person and it is good.Curriculum is updated enough.Thus,it makes me job-ready.

As they don't offer any kind of placements, the quality of placements is very poor. Not even a single student has been placed. It may be because it's a government institution. Though I am a cottonian I don't have much knowledge on this aspect other than this.

I don't really remember the cost but the amount is very reasonable and not only me each and every cottonians is getting their money's worth.

Life in our college campus is something to be missed forever.There are no worst features to be enlisted here because it has the best features.Students can get engaged in any kind of activities they want to.The location of CU is the bestest of all and it's totally safe with a police station nearby.Hence,it can handle any kind of emergencies.CU is situated in between our famous local market,mighty river brahmaputra,parks,cinema Halls,courts,railway station,temples,uncountable food stalls,etc.

CU is one of the most famous educational institution of Assam. It was built by the Britishers. It was known as Cotton College earlier and eventually it became a university. Also CU is one of the oldest educational institution of Assam and must say about it's eminence.
