Academically it is one of the best colleges in the Guwahati city. The teachers are top-notch, they push you to think, not just memorize. Debates, seminars, and reading heavy texts are part of daily life. Honestly, its demanding but you end up feeling sharper and more confident.

Cotton has that old-college charm mixed with new facilities. The campus is very big and the facilities are good. The library has books which will cater everyone needs. The hostel provide good facilities and food is good. There is sports centers, wifi, and all are maintained and used.

No high package corporate placements, But cotton's name carries weight. Most seniors crack net-jrf and get into civil services, or go for good universities for Phd. There will be career guidance program which will help you a bit.

I have completed my post graduation and the quality of teaching is good, it is a state university so the faculties are highly qualified and very professional. The classes happened regularly. The course curriculum is updated. It will make you something at least a better person.

The cotton college has excellent infrastructure, facilities, there are many new structures have been build and the classrooms and hostel has good wifi, labs, gym facility, indoor sports stadium etc. All of these are used and well-maintained. The living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic.

The placements are very poor, there is less than 10 15 percent students get placement. Though the placement cell works to bring many diverse opportunities for students, They organize workshops, and all. There will be seminars and conference on different career related topics.

The university also features an indoor stadium,which provides sports enthusiasts with gym facilities and opportunities to participate in various games and tournaments. Moreover, the Suryya Kumar Bhuyan Library located within the campus is also well equipped which serves as a treasure trove of knowledge, offering students a peaceful studying environment with various facilities like Wi-fi & JSTOR access, along with a plethora of books. The various journals, magazines, e-books, etc available in the library further support academic pursuits.
