Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects- Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / IT / Computers. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of a candidate belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

B. TECH - Lateral Entry:

Passed diploma examination from a board/university-approved institution, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in an appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology. Passed a B.Sc. degree from a recognized university as defined by UG, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) and passed Xil standard with mathematics as a subject.

Admission Details

Admission will be purely based on the marks secured in the DRUET, conducted by DRIEMS University. The candidates who have secured valid Ranks in the National / State Level Entrance (JEE Main rank), too, are eligible to take part in the counseling process.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is very satisfying. it has green and clean campus of 160 acres. The academics is very good with classrooms with projectors. Smart classrooms are also available. Labs are very well-equipped with ethernet and Wi-Fi. Library is available with 10000+ books. The food quality both in hostel and college canteen is hygienic and testy. There is a guest house and faculty living space which is clean with good facilities.Gym and sport grounds are also too good.

College Infrastructure

This college has a very well equipped infrastructure with all basic amenities. What makes it infrastructure remarkable is its huge campus size of over 160 acres. The college provides WiFi which has decent speed. The academic building is has all laboratories with proper maintenance. There are ICT labs with projectors for better learning. The hostel. Services need to be improved a bit, like the food quality should be taken care of. The living spaces are cleaned on a regular basis.
