Hope you are doing great. I understand the fact that you did your graduation from GITAM deemed to be University, Vishakhapatnam in BSc (HONS) in Chemistry and CAT 2021 Application form gives you option for "Bs/BSc" and not HONS.

It is not a problem, you can select BSc. This is done to segregate candidates based on their backgrounds (eg Engineers, Doctors, General / Commerce grads, etc).

Both of the Universities i.e, Gitam University and Jain University are very good universities in terms of infrastructure, faculties and placements. So, it would be a bit difficult to say which is best.

Although, in terms of placement record in CSE Branch, Jain University is a bit better than Gitam University.

Around 90-95% of the students gets placed during college campusing in Jain University. The Highest package attained by CSE Branch is around 30 LPA with Average package ranging between 5-6 LPA.

**But placement depends on the student himself, not any institute. So you need to work hard with will enthusiasm and effort to attain such highly-paid packages .

GITAM is a deemed to be university which had three campus in Vishakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Bengaluru. Top recruiting companies recruit students from campus like Decathlon, Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, TATA etc. They organise their own aptitude test at the time of admission, based on this test they will provide you with counselling and you can select course of your interest.

Jain University is a deemed to be University located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. It organizes industry led programs. It provides global exposure to students. Top recruiting companies visit campus for recruitment like Accenture, Acer, Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India Pvt. Ltd., Google etc.


I would say both the institutes have excellent placement records. The faculty is qualified. So, You can choose accordingly.

If you must select between these two colleges, I would recommend GITAM University for CSE. The college has excellent faculty members that specialise in current issues such as data management and cyber security, so you will be able to learn about some of the most current topics from industry specialists. GITAM also has greater placements than Alliance. Alliance is primarily visited by small start-ups and mid-sized businesses, but GITAM attracts large corporations, giving you a better chance of landing a job with a top firm.

Some rules and regulations are written on GITAM university, Bangaluru’s official website, which are:

1. Students can’t park their cars inside the campus

2. No mobile phones in the class.
3. Parents are informed if the child has short attendance

4. Ragging or misbehaviour is prohibited

5. Dress code for boys- trousers/pants with Shirt. The sleeves of shirt shouldnt be rolled up and shoes.
for girls- sarees or suits with duppata , no sleeveless aloud.

hope you are doing well and safe. With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that college life of gitam is quite quite good and a part of life of students which they rememeber forever . College life of gitam helps students to develop and gives them exposure.  Gitam espescially for btech students conducts technical fests with help of seniors which increases coding culture . Sports fests also held every year for students .Overall life is very good and disciplined

Dear it totally depends on the ongoing situations. If your scholarship is based on your merit then most often it remains flawless. But if your scholarship is based on category or quota then amendments can be there. Before taking admission read the information brochure and make sure you read the terms and conditions of your scholarship. Unless there are some unavoidable circumstances scholarship proposed by the institution at the beginning of curriculum remains unchanged.

Hi aspirant, since you have got 76 marks out of 200 in Gitam University so according to your this marks it is not possible. See the no. of seats of GITAM are much higher than expected rate, there are around 600-700 students alone in CSE .

In case of integrated course you don't have to spent more years or fees for the btech and Mtech courses separately. Your mentioned institutions are well efficient in case of respective trades. Now choice is yours that which one you want to opted. But it is clear from the past years that dual degree BTech-MTech (CSE) students, the average quality (in terms of technical content) and far more better than the normal btech students.
