According to the instructions available in the official website https://gat.gitam.edu/engineering/hallticket.php to appear for GITAM GAT a candidate can appear for the entrance examination through laptop/desktop/android mobile phone. If a candidate which to appear through mobile phone he/she must download 'secure assessment' and open the test through mobile web browser. But the candidate might face issues while taking the test through mobile web browser. So taking the test in mobile phone or tablet is not ideal as you might face issues. So we would recommend you to take the test through laptop or desktop.

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, is a NAAC A+ accredited university which is affiliated to UGC. With proper infrastructure and facilities it is one of the universities that can be considered. However, this university does not offer MSc. in Astrophysics.

According to your marks your percentage is 58 %. You haven't mention your board name. I'm telling you a Eligibility Criteria of GITAM University:-

• Candidates should have completed their 12th standard with recognized board.
• Student should have studied Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics as compulsory subjects in 11th and 12th standard.
• You should score at least 60% aggregate marks or 6CGPA (55% in the case of CBSE and ICSE) should have been scored in the qualifying exam.

Well being a high school graduate and completion of 12 years of schooling is kind of required for all different types of exams in any field that you want to sit for. Similarly it is hardly possible for you to sit for the exam without completion of class 12th.

If you are asking about engineering stream then Gitam University is a better option. As the staff and resources are far better for engineering stream than Atria institute.
So I will recommend Gitam over Atris. All the best.

see mits madanapally is around 14 years older than gitam university bangalore. mits established at 1998, however the placement record is same for both of the institute, the average package offered by gitam and mits is 3.5 lpa. both of the institute has excellent infrastructure and fair amount of students and faculty ratio. one of the major benefits to study in gitam is , its situated in bangalore which is the IT hib of India. and you would get ample opportunity for internship while staying at bangalore.
