I'll try to make a point.

You get to see such a diversified system of Education in India!

There are institutions where people put their soul to get marks and there are some institutions which you one can easily get through.

Now, coming to the question!

GITAM! Right!

I will try to answer based on the information which I got from my friends studying over there.

There's no cut-off marks to get a admission! It's the exam which is only for name sake. Get 290 (or) 300 (or) 0, it doesn't matter what so ever.

So the exam is only name sake. Write it, and you'll get a call, pay the fee and BAMM!

How to apply based on jee mains

Greetings from Careers360. JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) Counseling begins after the results of the JEE Advanced are declared. So, for getting an admission based upon your JEE Main rank, you need to wait until the JoSAA counseling begins in May End and then apply for the same. Good luck :)

dear buddy the GITAM wont accept the JEE marks let me tell the vizag campus takes in by only GAT score only while HYdrabad campus as well and bengalure takes in by Comedk ,GAT,KCET

try with that in which have written in exam , while you can direct admission as well

Hello Amrutha,

GITAM University generally takes admission on GAT result. Since this is private college so they consider JEE Main score card for admission too. He has good chance that he can get GITAM with this rank. This rank in General category is not good enough for admission in good college.

Can we do B.tech as distance mode in mechanical side

Hi Virendra,
According to Ministry of HRD , AICTE, DEC , UGC distance education in any of the B.Tech courses is not valid. These bodies haven't permitted any university or college to offer distance learning courses for B.tech. These degrees are Invalid now as declared by UGC and Distance education Council (DEC). Also Supreme Court of India suspended these degrees considering all of them invalid. So do not go for any Distance learning program in Mechanical engg. Or any BTech branch.

my grand son got rank 20450 in gitam gat 2018. in which branch he gets a seat and in which campus of the gitam university.

The cut off marks are still not announced by the university yet ,so before that we can't be absolutely sure about this years cut off as they depend upon various factors like number of applicants fill the form, number of applicants finally appeared in the exam, number of questions asked in the exam, difficulty level of the exam, performance of the candidate, previous year's cut offs trends availability of seats in the institution. Though you son has scored a good rank so he'll be able to get admission in the university and as long as the branch and campus is concerned I think he'll get ECE/Civil in VIZAG campus and CSE in hydrabad campus, but you need to wait till the results are out.

College Infrastructure

GITAM University of Vishakapatnam is having a good infrastructure and all necessary facilities provided to students then classrooms are more then 10 available sitting arrangements is seventy plus libraries also a good.

Gitam university is a good choice for everyone

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is good, with amenities like advanced labs and decent classrooms with good parks and resting areas. It also has a gym and sports ground with multiple games indoors and outdoors. classroom conditions can be better, but other departments had different buildings with better infra, Libarby is very good and AC.

This campus is full of greenary you could definitely love it

College Infrastructure

The college boasts cutting-edge infrastructure with well-furnished labs and a spacious library.The Wi-Fi connectivity is decent, but the hostel facilities are a bit cramped and need improvement ,but the infrastructure is okay for present time.
