72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time Doctoral program and it is offered by Harcourt Butler Technical University, Kanpur. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
Unreserved Category -Master degree in relevant discipline/subject with a minimum of 60 % marks or equivalent CGPA / CPI.
Reserved Category (OBC/SC/ST/PH -Master degree in relevant discipline/subject with a minimum of 55 % marks or equivalent CGPA / CPI.
Admission Details
Admissions to Ph.D. program shall be made through an Entrance Examination conducted by the University.
