Academics
The academic rigor at HBTU is high. Being a student of the Batch of 2027 in Plastic Technology, you are under the guidance of some of the most experienced faculty members in the industry. The professors here are often involved in the national-level research and consultancy.
College Infra
HBTU Kanpur infrastructure is quite unique because the department is one of the oldest and most well-regarded in the country. The labs are equipped with specialized machinery for the polymer processing, testing, and chemical analysis.
Campus Life
Campus life at HBTU is vibrant and culturally rich. The annual fest, Zhenith, and the technical fest, Technika, are highlights of the year, bringing together talent from across the state. There are numerous clubs from coding and robotics to photography.
Placements

Faculty are highly experienced and Phd holders. They encourage students to focus on both academics and extracurricular growth. Professors help students with projects, guide them for research, and motivate them to attend technical fests. They also provide strong support for placements and higher studies. Guest lectures and workshops are frequently arranged, ensuring students get exposure to current industry trends.
College Infra
nfrastructure of my college is solid, with a balance between traditional charm and modern facilities. The classrooms are comfortable and equipped with audio-visual aids. Labs in all branches are functional and regularly updated, especially for Chemical and Mechanical Engineering. The library is rich in books and e-resources, supporting both academics and research. Hostels provide a safe environment with Wi-Fi and good food.
Placements
Placements are strong across branches all branches. IT and software roles dominate, with companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, and Accenture hiring large numbers of students. Average packages stay around ₹5–6 LPA, and the highest offers have touched ₹20+ LPA. Core engineering branches also have good placement rates in companies like NTPC, GAIL, and IOCL. College Infra
College provides excellent infrastructure for both academics and extracurricular activities. The labs are equipped with modern tools, and classrooms are updated with projectors and digital boards. The library is spacious and well-stocked, offering a peaceful environment for study. Hostel facilities are clean and provide good food, Wi-Fi, and study-friendly spaces. Hello Aditya,
The CSE cut off in computer science in HBTU was 22184 for the other state quota and for the Uttar Pradesh domicile quota, it was also the same. So you should get around 98 percentile in order to get the cse branch in this college.
