24 MonthsThe Faculty of Education has conceived and developed a unique B.Ed. Program to train the teachers to meet the challenges of emerging trends and competitive environment. The curriculum and pedagogy adopted are exploratory and reflective in nature. An applied approach to learning is followed keeping in view the national and international standards of education. Emphasis is given to the holistic development of the students to meet the ever-changing demands of education through the two-year full-time program.
The duration of the program is two years which comprises four semesters of coursework and teaching practice.
Note: Seats will be allotted through State Government B.Ed Counselling through CG Pre-B.Ed Entrance Examination.
Eligibility Criteria
- BSc: Pass in Class 10+2 or equivalent with 40% and above aggregate marks.
- Mathematics Stream: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as the compulsory subjects in Class XII.
Final year students who have not received the original certificates from the Board / University by August 01, 2026 will be admitted provisionally. Their admission will be confirmed subject to their passing the qualifying examination and meeting the minimum requirements as indicated above. The registration of the candidates not meeting the criteria by September 14, 2026 will be cancelled. In such cases, admission fee will be forfeited and only 50% of the semester fee will be refunded after notifying the cancellation of the seat by the University.
For the purpose of determining eligibility, based on aggregate percentage of marks for the respective program, the procedure used by the respective Board / University in award of the Certificate / Degree will only be taken into consideration. All applicants should have completed a minimum of 12 years of formal education for UG programs and minimum 15 years of formal education for PG programs by August 01, 2026. Applicants who have completed their graduation on a one-time sitting basis or on a 2-year basis are not eligible for admission to the MBA Program.
