The B.Sc. (Hons) program is offered with main courses as Biology The students can choose any combination of three subjects from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Electronics in their program of study for B.Sc. For the award of degree, B.Sc. students will have to successfully complete a total of 24 subjects as shown in the program structure. For the award of degree, B.Sc. (Hons) students will have to successfully complete a total of 28 subjects as shown in the program structure.

Compulsory Foundation Courses

Four courses (General Hindi, General English-I, General EnglishII and Environmental Science) are compulsory in semester-I, II, III and IV respectively.

Elective Foundation Course

There are elective courses (Computer Application-I, Computer Application-II, Personality Development, Soft Skills etc). Out these two courses must be taken by the students in semester-V and VI respectively.

Core Courses

There are four courses set in the group Physics, Chemistry Mathematics, Electronics. Out of this, three courses shall be chosen as compulsory core courses. Each core course has one paper in semester - I, II, III and IV respectively.

Electives

The student has to choose three elective courses in semester V and semester VI respectively out of a pool of elective courses prescribed by the University.

Eligibility Criteria

BSc: Pass in Class 10+2 or equivalent with 40% and above aggregate marks.
Mathematics Stream: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English as the compulsory subjects in Class XII.

Final year students who have not received the original certificates from the Board / University by August 01, 2025 will be admitted provisionally. Their admission will be confirmed subject to their passing the qualifying examination and meeting the minimum requirements as indicated above. The registration of the candidates not meeting the criteria by September 14, 2025 will be cancelled. In such cases, admission fee will be forfeited and only 50% of the semester fee will be refunded after notifying the cancellation of the seat by the University.

For the purpose of determining eligibility, based on aggregate percentage of marks for the respective program, the procedure used by the respective Board / University in award of the Certificate / Degree will only be taken into consideration. All applicants should have completed a minimum of 12 years of formal education for UG programs and minimum 15 years of formal education for PG programs by August 01, 2025. Applicants who have completed their graduation on a one-time sitting basis or on a 2-year basis are not eligible for admission to the MBA Program.

Admission Details

The selection of applicants for all programs is made through application and interview. While evaluating applicants for admission, due weightage is given to academic distinction, awards in sports/cultural events, debates, quizzes and other extra co-curricular activities.
