Indian Institute of Science Education and Research admissions 2024-25 open. The last date to apply is May 13, 2024.
The authority will conduct the IISER 2024 exam on June 9, 2024.
The authority has released the IISER Aptitude Test 2024 official notification at iiseradmission.in.
IISER Pune admissions 2024 to BS-MS Dual Degree Programmes will be done based on the IAT 2024. Interested candidates can apply on the official website by paying an application fee of Rs. 2,000 (Rs. 1,000 for reserved categories).
Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) and IIT-Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced scores will not be considered for IISER UG admission. Only IAT 2024 scores will be considered for admissions to IISERs.

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune was established in 2006 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (renamed Ministry of Education in August 2020). IISER Pune was declared as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament in the year 2012. IISER Pune offers courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. IISER Pune offers BS-MS dual degree programme at UG level, Master of Science (MSc) programme at PG level and Integrated PhD (i-PhD) programme, PhD programme, Externally Funded PhD programme and International PhD programme at the doctoral level.

IISER Pune admission to BS-MS programmes will be done based on the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT). For admission to MSc courses, candidates need to clear IIT-JAM. For PhD admission at IISER Pune, candidates must meet eligibility criteria, take a national-level test, and pass an interview. Admission to Integrated PhD (i-PhD) programme, JGEEBILS/ JEST/ JAM/ NBHM followed by interviews. According to the NIRF Report 2024, 14 UG students were placed with a median salary package of Rs. 8,30,800 respectively. As per the NIRF Rankings 2023, IISER Pune has been ranked 34th position in the Overall category and ranked 27th position in the Research category. IISER Pune offers various campus facilities which include hostels, a library, an auditorium, medical services, sports facilities, guest rooms, gymnasium, a cafeteria, IT infrastructure, banks/ ATMs, transport facilities, laboratories, classrooms and more.

IISER Pune Scholarship

Students who are admitted to BS-MS dual degrees at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research via the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) channel are offered a KVPY fellowship of Rs. 5,000. KVPY fellowships are offered as per the KVPY norms. Also, students admitted via JEE Advanced and SCB channels of admissions are offered a limited number of INSPIRE scholarships according to DST INSPIRE scholarship norms. IISER Pune scholarships are KVPY fellowships, INSPIRE, PMRF etc. Candidates who are offered admission to PhD programmes at IISER Pune are entitled to receive PMRF- Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (PMRF). Candidates are also offered the Dr Manmohan Singh Scholarship. This scholarship enables academically outstanding students to pursue doctoral studies in fields like Science and Technology, Economics and Social Sciences. College Infrastructure

The college has fairly good inrastructure. The hostel rooms are equipped with ethernet ports to facilitate good internet connectivity. However, routers are not allowed in the hostel rooms. The labs are well euqipped with safety features and good air flow.

You must apply code 5 .

Code 1 is applicable to those candidates who are in class xii , appearing for board exams .

Code 2 is for those candidates who are from nios / CBSE or ICSE board . Droppers must also apply code 2.

Code 3 - Those who have passed class xii board from any recognized university university with physics, chemistry and biology.

Code 4 - Those whk have given pre medical or pre professional Examination.

Code 5 - Those who have passed first year bsc .

Code 6 Those who have passed bsc from any recognized university.

Code 7 Those who have given Examination equivalent to intermediate . Foreign candidates must also apply this code .

Hello,

According to historical tendencies, you should.

This year, it will depend on how well students perform generally and the extent to which the increase in seats has an impact (this year, 75 percent of seats shall be filled via the SCB channel). That will ultimately determine which IISER you receive.

But in my opinion, with a score of 124, you should surely get admitted to IISER Pune.
