24 MonthsThe Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Hyderabad offers a research-intensive M.Tech. program featuring a curriculum that is both comprehensive and flexible. At the heart of the program is excellence in graduate education with a strong emphasis on fundamental and applied research. Students are encouraged to actively formulate and solve innovative research problems, and participate in collaborative projects with researchers in the departments of Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, and Materials Science and Engineering. The program culminates in an M.Tech. thesis describing the student’s original research.
