Faculty in Department are generally well qualified, holding postgraduate degrees. Most teachers are approachable and willing to assist students beyond classroom hours, whether for clarifying concepts or guiding projects.
College Infra
Computer Science infrastructure is equipped with modern infrastructure to support both academic and practical learning. High-speed Wi-Fi is available on campus and in hostels. Department has multiple computer labs with updated hardware and licensed software.
Placements
Placements are quite good here. Due to so much crowd many people won't get placements but many people do get. With around 82% of eligible students successfully placed in reputed companies. Highest package offered was 32 LPA. Most common roles offered are data analyst, web developer, software engineer, etc.

Yes, IIT Hyderabad offers entrance exams and alternative admissions other than the GATE and JEE Advanced. Most of the time it's for the course or programs like MTech/PhD and some programs in UG or UGEE. This alternative path involves an entrance exam and interviews.
