JLU Bhopal Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

JLU Bhopal provides hostel facilities for boys and girls separately within and outside the campus. The hostels are secure, comfortable, and hygienic, with dedicated wardens and faculty members. The hostels have common rooms, wifi, canteens, and transport facilities.

The University has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

Our state-of-the-art Gymnasium has cardiovascular equipment including treadmills and elliptical. We also have dumbbells, z-rods, leg press, bench press and multiple weight training equipment. In addition to this, we have a free weights section as well as a stretching area for your essential cool-down or foam-rolling session. The gym tactically overlooks the clear blue swimming pool which entices an individual to exercise in this pristine environment.

The institute has a unique pyramid-shaped library with 35000 books and 30+ journals and magazines. The library also gives access to online resources like McGraw Hill E-Books. The library has a quiet reading area and a projector for webinars and video conferences.

JLU Bhopal has a sports infrastructure supporting its students' talents and ambitions. The university has a football field, basketball and volleyball courts, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, and a yoga lab. The university also organises sports events to promote fitness and wellness.

JLU Bhopal campus has a dining hall that serves nutritious and delicious food to the students and staff. The dining hall has a modern kitchen and a seating capacity of 180 people. The university also has a food court called APPETITE that offers cuisines from around the world.

The university has four auditoriums that can host large gatherings of students, staff, and guests. The auditoriums have wifi, projectors, screens, and sound systems. The auditoriums are used for lectures, seminars, workshops, cultural events, and TEDx JLU.

Jagran Lakecity University provides Wi-Fi access to all its students and staff in the campus and hostels. The wifi network is fast, reliable, and secure, allowing users to access online resources, communicate with others, and work on their projects. 

The University has good networking for the alumni association.

JLU Bhopal has a transport facility that helps the students and staff commute to and from the campus. The university has 15 CCTV-enabled buses running 24 routes throughout the city.

The institute has 122 classrooms in 9 academic blocks, which can seat over 4277 learners at once. The classrooms are digitally enabled for effective teaching and learning. JLU also has 36 tiered classrooms, 14 fixed furniture classrooms, and 60 portable classrooms to suit different needs and preferences.

JLU Bhopal has over 45 labs for different disciplines and programmes. The labs are well-equipped with computers, software, cameras, microphones, and other devices. The labs are used for practical learning, research, media production, testing, and counselling.

The University has a parking facility for 300+ student vehicles inside the campus, where parking spots are readily available. Before you plan to park on campus, please ensure that your vehicle is registered with the security services and has JLU parking stickers well placed and visible on your vehicle. You can do this by emailing your vehicle registration, from your registered university email account to “info@jlu.edu.in”. Campus has a separate parking area for the staff which can accommodate 100+ vehicles and thus the easy of commuting is managed. The visitors to the university or individuals coming to take a campus tour are expected to park their vehicles in a designated area outside the campus, keeping in mind the safety of the students and by doing so the ease of access to the university for staff, students as well as the visitors is maintained.
