72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Management is a Minimum Duration of Three years and a Maximum Duration of six years program offered at the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida.
JBS offers full-time and part-time Ph.D. programs in management, in the interdisciplinary and contemporary issues in the area of marketing, finance, human resource, operations, economics, international business, information systems, and strategic management. The scholars are expected to successfully complete stipulated course work and to carry out research in the chosen field. The award of a Ph.D. degree is in recognition of high academic achievements, independent research, creative and productive inquiry, and application of knowledge to the solution of problems in business and management. Full-time research scholars are provided with a monthly assistantship to pursue their research work.

1. Hostel Charges: Rs. 1.00 Lakh per Semester (Gen), USD 1500 (NRI/Foreign)
2. Caution Money : Rs. 20000/- for all programs. (One Time, Refundable after completion of program).
3. Application Fee: Rs. 1000.
Research Fellowship
Financial Support may be provided to full time Ph.D. students in the form of Research Fellowship, subject to availability.
Eligibility Criteria
- M. Tech. Degree of a University or equivalent for Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology in respective branch with 60% Aggregate Marks or CGPA not less than 6 on scale of 10.
- Master‟s Degree of a University for Ph. D. in Sciences/ Humanities/ Social Sciences/ Management/ Pharmacy in respective discipline or equivalent with 60% Aggregate marks or CGPA not less than 6 on scale of 10.
- M.C.A. Degree with 60% Aggregate Marks or equivalent CGPA and two years experience for Ph. D. in Computer Science & Engineering/ Information Technology Departments.
- Consistently good academic performance is desirable.
Admission Details
- Candidates to satisfy the requirements of minimum qualification specified in „A’ above. Candidates appearing in the final year examination of qualifying degree can also apply. They will be required to submit marksheet of the qualifying degree on or before the date of registration.
- The eligible candidates will be required to appear in the Ph. D. Entrance Test of the Institute.
- Interview will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates Each eligible candidate will have to give a short presentation before the interview committee in the area of research interest.
- The eligibility criteria for interview shall be determined as under:
UGC-NET / CSIR (JRF) or equivalent national level examination candidates (only those who have qualified for fellowship and not for Lecturership only).
