The college has a pretty decent campus and it is situated on the outskirts of beautiful Jaipur city. The crowd is decent with mixed culture from different parts of India. Also the infrastructure is good with all the necessary labs for students. But the faculty quality is not up to the mark. Placement wise it is okay but the number of companies visiting the campus is increasing.

The good, the bad and the okay

Posted on 27 Aug' 16 by Rajat
Batch of 2014 | B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering
Started out to be a research-oriented institute in 2001 with vision, it was transformed into another placement focused college by 2012. Such change had many responsible factors: * Larger number of students in later batches. * General trend in India considering only the placement performance of a college. In general, had a decent experience. It's a deemed-to-be university. The campus is one of the more beautiful places I've lived. Hostels are very good. Mess food is nothing extraordinary. Some professors are at the top of their game, others are just as good as a lecturer. The administration is like government offices with a bad attitude, even with not over 1000 students to manage they've managed to really suck at their work. Only IT branches are there with some innovative ones like mechatronics, Computer & Electronics etc. While I was there you could take as many or as little courses up in a semester, That rule might have changed now, though. No reservations. All in all not bad place to earn a degree in four years.

Infrastructure is great. Hostels are good with ducts. Faculties are nice if you really wanna study. You will get a good exposure of every field here. You will definitely make a good career here irrespective of the stream. Almost all cultural, sports and technical activities are here. In cultural, there are music club, dance club, photography club, Sankalp club, nirog club, drama club, fundoo club. In sports, badminton, squash, lawn tennis, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, football, cricket, chess, carom etc. Placements are good (Up to 90-95% ). Many students go for higher studies abroad.

This is the best college to be in if you have just cleared the JEE mains cut-off. Only one or two faculties like *** sir and **** sir are good other faculties like ******* etc are really annoying and troublesome to the students. The infrastructure in LNMIIT is so-so as it is completely a self-reliant college and only has got donations from *** in the past and now he has clearly said to earn and eat. The food in the mess is like in all the engineering colleges, bad.
