Madhusudan Law University, Cuttack Fees 2026

I am studying BA.LLB.(Hons.). I gave the entrance exam and passed. While there are some teaching faculties who are really annoying and aren't really teaching properly, the rest are really great faculties, imparting great knowledge, and help us in every possible way, regardless of whether it's academics or internships or non-academic matters. They are ready to help us improve in every step and make us grow in every possible way. With the change and recent developments in criminal law, our entire syllabus had been changed in my 2nd year of university. They train us in both knowledge and etiquette through academics and moot courts and mock trials, etc.

We have ACs, Fans, Lights, White Boards, etc. Most of which may or may not work at times and the white boards might be a bit unclean and hard to clean as well, duster goes missing from time to time and it's sometimes hard to find a good market to write on the white board. Most of the books in the library are wayyyyyy too old and need to have latest editions to replace them which they aren't doing. There is no canteen or hostels. Classrooms are not being cleaned daily. We need to write an application to get fans or ACs repaired or to have someone to be sent to our classes to get it cleaned.

My university campus.... Kinda messy. Best is the availability of Acs in our classrooms I guess and worst is the toilets. They need more staff to clean our university or engage some students to help clean their respective accessible areas, like they do in foreign countries. Students are very talented, not just in academics but in extracurriculars as well. Teachers..... Vary. Some are really good at teaching and easy to understand, very interactive and interesting while others are kinda annoying, not really interested in teaching, and get distracted during class time. Other non-teaching faculties, I can't really say as I don't really interact much. Location is I guess safe. There are enough security guards to ensure students and other facilities' safety. Emergencies, I haven't really faced any as such, so I have no idea.

Placements..... I guess mostly students after graduation go into litigation or work as a junior under some renowned advocate or work in some corporation. There are quite a few who focus on preparing for OJS and become judges or justices. I don't really know about the quality of placements or percentage of students placed or highest salary package offered, etc. The university has indeed produced many renowned advocates and justices over the years. There are Supreme Justices and Advocates on Record who have graduated from my University. Not bad I guess.

My course's cost per year is close to 25,000(?) I guess. With my university's conditions and the teaching quality being good enough, excluding the facilities and equipments, I guess I am getting my money's worth.

The teachers are great and they teach well, they also focus a lot on internals. The curriculum however is a bit bad as there's only 2 semester for major law subs while 4 for arts subjects which I think was unnecessary.

The buildings are newly made and have good furnitures along with facilities but there are no sports facilities along with not having an auditorium and the place is a bit small but they'll be making a new building so that's that.

The university doesn't have its own hostels so the campus life is only half of what it should be. The university provides for an average campus life with facilities such as libraries and good classrooms.

Currently there's no facility of placements but the college administration are working on it and it maybe available in the next couple of years for the new batches. Despite all these the Madhusudan tag comes in handy.

The fees are really affordable and I think it's worth it as the college provides with good teachers and great classrooms which have projectors, airconditioner and decently well maintained rooms along with water facilities.

I’m studying BALLB and the teachers here are very cooperative and friendly they help me in everything if any kind of doubt i have. The academic events and exams are managed properly by the faculties. I preferred this college because it is a government college and the way of teaching is very good as i need to persue LLM in future

College has a good infrastructure overall. It has a good environment for studying and the classrooms are well managed and furnished. Is has proper smart class with central ac working properly and library is well maintained.

Its a good campus with proper parking facilities. It has a proper ground for sports activities but it doesn’t have a canteen which is a main problem for all the students. It doesn’t organise any programs or fest only there is annual function which is organized in a proper manner. The teachers and staffs here are very cooperative and friendly they listen to everything any problem we have and solve them properly. The college is located in between the city so there is no problem of any facilities and transportation is very good

It has a good placement in odisha in hight court and subordinate court. Most of the students get placed usually under any chamber of court they train under the lawyers so that they can properly understand the functioning

Course Fee for BA LLB is 24000 per year which is a very low amount as it is government college so the course fee is low. I feel like it’s worth it value for money because at this amount im able to understand and get every scope i want from the college and life.
