MKU Madurai:

Madurai Kamaraj University was established in the year 1965 and offers 140 courses to choose from at several academic levels, including 8 diplomas, a postgraduate diploma, 90 postgraduate, 39 M.Phil, and 45 PhD programmes. These MKU courses are offered in a variety of disciplines, including computer applications, management, science, and the arts. Madurai Kamaraj University has an NAAC grade of "A++" and is ranked 53 in accordance with NIRF statistics from 2023.  With the social concern of meeting the educational needs of rural students in and around the Madurai district as well as the objective of empowering the rural women via knowledge dissemination, Madurai Kamaraj University scholarships are offered. The university has been generating great scholars and provides 47 postgraduate, 10 undergraduate, 12 certificate, diploma, higher diploma, and PG diploma programmes. Classes are taught by eminent professors and researchers who offer practical instruction using cutting-edge technology. 

Madurai Kamaraj University offers admission into the courses based on the scores acquired by the students in the competitive exams or the entrance exam conducted by the university. MKU facilities include a centralised computer and language lab with 300 PCs and a 1Gbps internet connection. There are separate, tastefully furnished dorms on the university grounds. Madura Kamaraj University placement cell plays an important role in recruiting students in the organisation when the recruiters visit the campus.
