The University has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The University has a girls' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The Central Library of the University was established in the year 2001. It is Situated adjacent to the administrative building inside the campus, the library has 54099 numbers of text and reference books in different subjects besides books of common interest. At present the library is subscribing to 58 journals and 17 magazines. e-resources by EBSCO and Elsevier ScienceDirect (10 Subjects) journals are accessible to the students, scholars, and faculty members of the University. The holdings of the library have been fully processed using popular technical tools like 20th Edition DDC for classification and AACR-2 for cataloging. OPAC through SOUL 2.0. The Library is fully automated with RFID-based automation integrated with SOUL 2.0 Integrated Library Management System (ILMS).

The University Sports Council was established in the year 2000. Since then, various activities have been undertaken at regular intervals to popularize games and sports. The University Sports Council promotes sports and games keeping in view the integrated personality development of the students. The sports council has been organizing inter-college tournaments and competitions in various sports and games. The university also represents various inter-university completions every year.

There is a Central Computer Facility located in the Department of MCA. This facility has been running since 2002 with a good number of application software for the benefit of the students, teachers, and other members of the University. Internet with email and browser facilities has been provided to the students. Looking at the present-day need, software like JAVA, ORACLE, VISUAL.NET, etc have been kept open for the benefit of the students. Facilities also exist for using various languages C, C++, C#, NETWORKING, HTML, COBOL, BASIC, MS-ACCESS, FORTRAN 77, and FOXPRO in various operating environments like WINDOWS – 98, 2000, XP, DOS, LINUX – 9I (RED HAT) and Fedora.

The University has a departmental based laboratories facility for the students.

There's a dispensary inside the University campus in front of the Central Library with the required medical facilities. The University has engaged two part-time doctors for providing healthcare facilities to the students, teachers, and employees. The students and employees take benefit from consulting him on any day as per their needs. However, the doctor attends the University health care center twice a week and provides medical aid to students and employees.

There is a canteen on the university campus located near Central Library for refreshments for the staff and students.

The Bank of India has its branch on the University campus for undertaking banking transactions by the students, teachers, and employees of the University. The Bank functions 6 days a week. It provides study loans to students who are in need of it.

The University has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The University has got a Gym with all the modern gym equipment such as Multi-Gym, Trade-Mills, Massage chair, Rowing machine, Crazy-fit machine, Cycling, weight plates, dumbells, and all modern accessories. One professional gym trainer is also engaged during the working hours of the Gym.

The University has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

Literary club to promote different literature-related events. Organization of competitions such as essays and debates including the Chancellor’s Cup debate for young students is induced through this club. The following committee constituted by faculties of the university actively promotes literature-related events. Literature subjects constitute an important part of the course curriculum at North Orissa University.

The University has set up a Training and Placement Cell for training and creating opportunities for on and off-campus recruitments in various organizations. Our students have been sent to different reputed research organizations/companies for vocational training /project work in their respective fields for work experience and future absorption there or elsewhere.

Creating opportunities for students and teachers for higher academic exposure through organizing research scholars‟ conclaves, hands-on experimental programs, workshops, National/ International Seminars/conferences, etc.
