• To be eligible for admission to an MMU Solan postgraduate program, applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.

• Some postgraduate programs may require applicants to take entrance exams such as the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or NEET PG.

• Candidates must have obtained permanent registration either from Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Council.

Maharishi Markandeshwar University Admission Process 2026 for PhD Course

• A candidate must possess a Master’s degree in the relevant field 

• with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA from a recognised university or institution. 

• The candidate should also have qualified in the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or other recognised bodies. 

• Furthermore, the candidate should have a valid score in the MMU Solan PhD Entrance Examination.

• A recent passport size photograph should be pasted at the space provided on the Admission

• Form with two additional copies to be appended with the Admission Form.

• Attested copies of Matriculation/Secondary/Sr. Secondary School Certificate or a Certificate of its equivalent public examination showing the candidate’s date of birth.

• Attested copies of having passed/appearing in qualifying examination duly attested by the Principal of the School/College/institution last attended by the candidate.

• Certificate of SC/ST/OBC/PWD/IRDP/BPL 

• Original Migration Certificate from the Board/University last attended (to be submitted at the time of admission or within 15 days from the date of admission).

• Candidates must mention his/her own and that of his/her parent’s Phone/Mobile Number and email address at the space provided in the Admission Form. Any change in the Contact No./e-mail address must be intimated to the admission office.

• Certificate of Himachali Bonafide resident for claiming seat under reserved categories for Himachali.

• A photocopy of the Aadhaar Card must be attached with the documents.
