For boys, there are several sports facilities available, including a running track, two basketball courts with floodlights, two volleyball grounds with floodlights, two kho-kho grounds, two kabaddi grounds, four badminton courts, a table tennis hall, a yoga hall, a cricket ground, and a football ground. Girls also have access to sports facilities, such as two badminton courts, two tennis tables, and a carrom board. There is also a stage facility for cultural programs, green rooms for cultural programs, locker rooms, toilets, bathrooms, and drinking water facilities. Additionally, there is a swimming pool available for use.

The University Library houses an extensive collection of books, annual reports, CDs, DVDs, CD-ROM databases, theses, and more. The library is open throughout the year, except on Sundays and holidays, from 9:00 am to 5:15 pm. There is also a separate reading room facility for registered girls and PhD students, which is open from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm.

Moreover, the university has departmental-based laboratories that provide students with hands-on learning experiences. The Alumni Association is also well-connected and provides opportunities for students to network and connect with other alumni.

For accommodation, the university has separate hostels for boys and girls, with a total of 7 listed colleges providing hostel facilities. The boys' hostel provides good accommodation options for male students, while the girl's hostel provides the same for female students.

Library
The University has Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth is one of the best universities in Maharashtra with a mandate of agricultural education, research, and extension. Libraries play a pivotal role in the dissemination of knowledge and information to students, and readers in their education, research, and extension activities. In order to cater to the needs of the readers, the University Library started functioning at Central Campus in the year 1968 with a merged collection of 2070 books only. It is developing steadily under the able guidance of the Vice-Chancellor and Chairmanship of the Library Advisory Committee and rendering various services to the readers, scientists, teachers, students, etc. for the last fifty years. The University Library is fully automated - University library purchased Slim 21 Special Library Management Software and as per guidelines/instructions from ICAR, New Delhi we have migrated all data from Slim21 to KOHA Library Management software and used it for all operations (i.e. Acquisition, Cataloguing, Circulation, Serials & Web OPAC). All e-Resources are made available in the library for faculty members, scientists, and students.
Laboratories

College Infrastructure

Faculty were good , practical labs were well equipped, and it happened in lockdown so i hardly know much about the college but overall it was a good experience there. I got exposed to various field projects.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure is very good and well furnished with practical laboratory and very big libraries in th campus. Also sport ground is available for outdoor games, wifi is available in campus, canteen is well maintained.

Yes my college having all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment . Facility like a library, Gymkhama, Sport Academy,Laboratory and lots of. Yes it's all working conditions. Living Space Clean and Hygienic Foods.

sir can i get admission for veterinary and animal husbandry in our college?

Hello Student

You have not mentioned the name of your college and the state you are domicile to. As you are talking about admission in veterinary science and animal husbandry then the direct admission in any college is not possible. You have to go through the NEET UG exam for veterinary science and animal husbandry admission. Whether you get admission in private college in management quota system even you have to appear for NEET UG exam and have to qualify with qualifying marks that is for general candidate 50th percentile, SC ST OBC for 40 percentile, for PWD candidate with 45th percentile marks in NEET UG exam. For bvsc & animal husbandry candidates need to get at least 350 plus marks in NEET UG exam.
