Mandya University offers admissions in various courses at the UG, PG, and Doctoral levels. Mandya University admissions include BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BCA, MSc, MA, MCom, MCA, MBA, MSW, MPEd, LLM, and PhD courses with the full-time study mode only. 

Candidates are required to meet the Mandya University eligibility criteria to apply for admission. PhD admission in Mandya University is based on university-level entrance examinations comprising a written test followed by an oral test/interview. Candidates with valid UGC/CSIRNET/DBT-JRF/ICMR-JRF/ICAR/SLET (KSET) scores or NET scores and any other equivalent test have to appear for an interview for the PhD course.
