Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have passed the B.E./ B.Tech. degree in Food Science/ Food Science & Technology / Food Technology and Management/Food Technology/ Food Process Engineering/ Food Engineering/ Dairy Engineering / Dairy Technology/ Agricultural Process Engineering/Agricultural & Food Engineering /Agricultural Engineering / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute. OR in the related allied field from a recognized University/Institute. Deficiency courses would be offered to the applicants with the above prescribed non-food degrees.
Admission Details
The admission to M.Tech. programmes will be based on a valid GATE score (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineers) and personal interview (30 marks). Merit list will be prepared based on valid GATE score multiplied by 0.7 (70% weightage of GATE score) and will be added to marks obtained in the personal interview.
