Hello aspirant,

You got nta percentile score 89.210. You asked if you may get a mechanical engg seat or not.

Look, your percentile score is medium. You may not get any of the nits probably. For nits one should be with around 96 percentile score in jee main. You may not get any gfti also. You will get mechanical engineering in the regional colleges. Some of them are good. So, you may go for them.

A jee main college predictor is given here for help:

Hi,

Dear Candidate, getting a chance to get a seat in B.Tech Computer Science for EWS Quota for (General category, I am assuming this since you have not mentioned your category) in home state truly depends on the policy of the state exam.

You need to check with the cut off of the state entrance exam that you have applied for and their category based cut off and check the reservation for girls in the B.tech seats.

Since you have not mentioned your home state we cant provide much information about that. Kindly post your question providing full details.

Thankyou

Hello Aspirant,

Both the NIT and IIIT's have great ratings since the past years and have most of the facilities in their respective college. Secondly coming to the selection of a branch you need to consider your field of Intrest first as both mechanical and ECE branch have great scope. Whereas mechanical branch has a tough competition and the scope for job opportunities are less compared to ECE because the number of students studying the course every year is high.

ECE is a course which presently have great scope and in the upcoming years many countries will be needing such professionals and with less competition in the field you could opt up the branch only of you have intrest in the field.

As ECE students would be getting lots of job opportunities in the future as compared to mechanical students.

Finally when compared with IIIT Kancheepuram and IIIT Naya Raipur, I would recommend you to go for IIIT Kancheepuram as the college has a great record of placements in the past years for students into famous companies with good salary packages.

So hope my answer helped you solve your query.

Good Luck

Dear student,

As you have secured 10161 st category rank in jee mains, then there is no chance fir your to get any nits or iiita ir any gftis in the whole josaa round counselling even with your home state quota.
As per your profile I can assume that you belong from andhra pradesh, then also you cannot get nit andhra pradesh.
Because fir getting a sure seat in nits or iiita from st category, then your st category rank must be under 1000.
Amd with this high st rank there of no chance for getting any seat.

But there is a chance if you try at csab special round counseling. In csab special round counseling, you can get some gftis if you arr a female candidate, as well as there are very low chance for getting any nits.

So, check out our jee mains college predictor tool to get an appropriate idea of colleges that you can get on basis of your jee mains rank :-

Hello Aspirant,

The vacancy of each branch is different and also different for each category. Each year depending upon how many candidates have applied for spot round, the seats are filled and are left vacant. If during the councelling process seats are left unfilled , then fir filling those unfilled seats, the spot round is conducted. Students are given preference for the spot round according to their merit and rank details.

So, for NIT Andhra Pradesh, each year's spot round vacancy list is different. It is not necessary that if last year the vacancy seats were more then this year also seats will be more. Depending upon candidates who have applied, seats could also be less.

Usually the colleges don't upload spot round vacancy list all year round. So you can check if the list is still available on their official website. Because, some colleges delete the vacancy list status after teh spot round is conducted.

Hope that helps.

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing well.

As per your question, according to your given college we may best figure out and compare any college if we compare their study life and placement packages. So as per these both colleges:-

1) NIT andhra pradesh:-

They have good infrastructure as well as as well qualified professors who will shape you in the right way. They have an average placement packages of 5.87LPA and highest package of 13LPA .Reputed  Companies like amazon, accenture, just dial etc came here for recruitment.

2) Anna university:-

They too have good infrastructure as well as qualified professors. As per their officials they have an average package of 6 to 8 LPA and highest package is around 40LPA . Reputed Companies like Toyota, hyundai, Amazon etc cane here for recruitment .

So as per these comparison anna university have better figure in terms of placement packages where you can enhance your future while recruited in these type of companies. So as per my opinion you should go with anna university but remember NIT andhra pradesh is also not a bad option. The main difference is only that anna university have better placement option which all candidates check out while selecting or choosing any college.

Hope this information helps you out. Thank you.
