B. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering is existing from the inception of the Institute in the year 1959. This programme is of 4 years duration (8 semesters). The course work in the first two semesters is common to all branches of engineering. The core Mechanical Engineering courses are introduced from the 3rd semester onwards. Besides, elective courses are offered from 5thsemester onwards. The electives permit one to choose his/her area of interest within the broad areas. The laboratories are equipped with state of the art equipment to impart necessary hands-on practice. The students also carry out project work during the last two semesters based on the knowledge acquired.

College Infrastructure

The college has a great infrastructure and facilites for the students including smart classrooms, gymnasium and multi sports arena for the students. The classrooms are completely smart equipped with smart boards and microphones for a great learning experience. The Wi-Fi is also good and library provides many resources helpful in the MBA journey. The food and living hygiene is maintained at its best.

College Infrastructure

The college has world class infrastructure. Each classroom is equipped with projectors. The campus is very large and green. The main building is 100 years old structure that acts a jewel of the crown. There is availability of hostel, mess, canteen within the college

College Infrastructure

The main attraction of the campus is the world-class infrastructures. The campus has good labs and workshops. The hostel life is good. The food there is above average, and it is affordable. There is a basketball court and a badminton court in the hostel
