M.Phil and Ph.D Sanskrit at RKMVERI Howrah Offline Course

1. 65% marks in Sanskrit with honours in Bachelor's Degree and 65% marks in the concerned subject in Master’s Degree from a UGC recognized University. (5% relaxation for SC/ST)

2. Applicant should possess UGC NET­JRF (Junior Research Fellowship)

3. Those without NET­JRF may also apply provided they have 75% marks MA

4. The candidate must be willing to join as a full time research scholar

5. For the current year 2018­19, subjects for specialization in Ph.D. will be Vyakarana and Vedanta.  Candidates should, therefore, have had specialization in   Vyakarana  (Panini’s grammar) or Vedanta (preferably Sankara Advaita Vedanta) at the Master's Programme.

6. Easy and facile writing ability and fluent speaking capacity in Sanskrit is essential
