GNM at Sangam University, Bhilwara Offline Course

1. Minimum education eligibility criteria for admission to GNM: 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible for State Open School recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open Schools (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government. However, Science is preferable. 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre. Registered ANM with a pass mark. For foreign nationals The entry qualification equivalency i.e., 12th standard will be obtained by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. Institution, the State Nursing Council will be responsible for ensuring that the qualification and eligibility will be equivalent to what has been prescribed above.

Reservation

For disabled candidates: 3% Disability reservation to be considered with a disability locomotor to the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity and other eligibility criteria about age and qualification will be the same as prescribed for each nursing program. Note: A committee is to be formed consisting of a medical officer authorized by the medical board of state government and a nursing expert in the panel who may decide whether the candidates have a disability of locomotor of 40% to 50%. 5% is relaxed for SC/ST candidates. Any other quotas as per the State Govt. under the reservation policy Note: Quotas shall be included in the seats sanctioned and not above it.. 3. Admission of students shall be once a year. 4. Students shall be medically fit.
