48 MonthsBachelor of Arts (BA) Hons in Economics is a 4 year undergraduate course under CBCS system at SRMU. The program is intended to provide a strong foundation to the students in the field of Economics and Business and to develop their critical thinking to guide them for pursuing higher studies and choose a suitable career. It also aims to impart basic understanding of Economics, Sociology and Political Science with a balanced and harmonized approach. The students are exposed to core economics in order to understand economic problems and institutions, and with the analytical tools to apply the knowledge to contemporary problems. This program envisions effective innovative teaching and learning methods such as projects, classroom discussions, practical training through field visits, case studies and presentations.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent system from any recognized Central/State Board with Commerce or related subjects/Maths with minimum aggregate marks of 45% or equivalent grade for GEN/OBC and 40% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST Category.

College Infrastructure
SRMU has quite good infra with smart classrooms (not all), library, labs, average sports facilities, and hostels. Most facilities are regularly used and maintained properly. The campus is clean the hostels and provide a decent living environment and food. Overall the university offers A comfortable atmosphere for academics and student life.im

College Infrastructure
The college infra is really good you will get all the facilities the seats are clean the classrooms are cleaned and you will get a clean washroom for men and women both and apart from that you will get sports academy BBC ground basketball court and many more for LLB students there are court rooms.
