He scored good marks still unfortunately he is a little sort from the government college cut off. Her state rank as well as category rank are good but not sufficient. I suggest you to allow for a year drop if you can. If she study hard I am sure she will make it next year.

Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati  is one of the Top Universities in Andhra Pradesh. 24,937 is not a better rank to get admission in this college. you won't get seat in this College with this rank. If you have any other reservation like NCC you may have a chance to get seat in Minor Branches like Chemical, Petroleum and others.

Since you haven't mentioned your category I am assuming it to be OC, and hence based on your rank and profile it is highly unlikely for you to get a seat in S V U College of Commerce Management and Computer Science as their previous year's cutoff was around 400 rank. Fee structure for SVU is as followed:

For all the B.tech program it is 40,000 per annum which is 1,60,000

For all diploma students it is 8000 per annum which is 16,000

For M.tech program it is 25,000 per annum which is 50,000 for two years

For B.tech and M.tech combined program it is 6,25,000 for five years.

These are only the tutition fees.
