Hello aspirant,

As far talking about SVU reservation of andhra pradesh, cut off is different for different categories

520+for general category students

410+for sc category students

395+ for st category students

And 476+for bc category students

Please mention a category if you want any further information.

And ask for queries.

Thank you

Hi Gangadhar,

Based on your profile and rank, you have low chances of getting into JNTU or Andhra University. However you have decent chances of getting a seat in SV University as their last year cutoff was around 4000 for BC-D category. Other colleges you can choose from are:

  • Pendekanti Institute of Management
  • Bharatiya Vidya Bhavans Vivekananda College of Science
  • AV College of Arts Science and Commerce
  • Kakatiya University College
  • Prasad V Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology
  • PB (Parvathaneni Brahmayya) Siddartha College of Arts & Science
  • AU Campus Kakinada
  • RVR and JC College of Engineering
  • Maharaj Vijayaram Gajapathiraj (MVGR) College of Engineerng
  • Acharya Nagarjuna University College of Engg. & Tech.
  • Yogi Vemana University

Hope this helps. All the best.

Hello aspirant! Admission to andhra university through Ap Eamcet gives you opportunity for both MBBS and BTECH. Now admission also depends on category gender stream you want. Looking at your category rank it's definitely possible for you to get admission in andhra university.

Hello Mayakuntala! Let me inform you that GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is an exam which students can give after B. Tech to get jobs in PSUs and admission in different IITS and nits or different colleges for Mtech with stipend. The most important thing you should know is the total marks in gate exam is 100 marks. So there is no point you can get 407 marks be it whichever branch. Tell us your exact score so that we can help you out.

Hi Gangadhar,

Assuming that you are an open category student, your chances in getting a seat in SVU or JNTU is a little less based on your rank. However, you can try for the below colleges:

  • Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science, Chittoor
  • Prasad V. Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology - [PVPSIT], Vijayawada
  • Pydah College of Engineering and Technology, Visakhapatnam
  • Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology Nandyal - [RGMCET], Kurnool
  • SRK Institute of Technology, Vijayawada

Hope this helps. All the best.

sorry, aspirant you cannot go through the college because your rank is not apt for that..according to the previous years cutoff the rank for hiring into ece must be 17190 for the sc category,,so you cannot get into, but you are apt for the computer science engineering ,...so go for it find your path.

Hello Siva,

Yes you can get the seat in SV university in that rank. The closing cutoff rank is around 1000 but you clearly qualify the exam and eligible to get a seat at that college.

Hope this information is useful for you, for further questions go down in comment section.

It will  be easy for us to determine your rank if you have mentioned your candidature and category you belongs to...but regarding you as the general category student you can get seat in mechanical and chemical engineering b but you cannot get into the computer science engineering  because your rank is not apt for that...they are the chances for ece if the cutoff for the college decreases.
