The infrastructure is good as per the college fees. The campus is well maintained with proper library, clean classrooms , basketball court and affordable canteen. But the wifi system can be improved a little bit.
I am studying English honours. The English faculty is really good. Infact , the faculty of all the departments is quite efficient. The curriculum is updated according to the cbcs system and included skill based subjects.
Placement opportunities are actively sent through emails to the students. The quality of the placements are really good , in good companies. I have not yet applied through the placement cell so i won't be able to give on the salary given.
The college is definitely expensive but it can be said that it is worth it beacuse of the brand name. The cost per semester is 48,000.
Campus life is good, although there isn't much availability of cafes and shops near the college.
Infrastructure is among the greatest strengths of the University. It is clean and well-maintained at all times. There are necessary facilities that the students can make use of. There's the basketball court, football field, gym, indoor sports room, etc, that students can practice sports and athletics in. The library is great. The canteen has nice food. Overall, it is amazing.
Professors are very well-qualified, and their ways of teaching is exceptional. Quality of teaching is beyond satisfactory. They provide personal attention to students and address their concerns and doubts with the greatest care and understanding.
The placement cell actively send s in placement opportunities for students. The average salary package is dependent on the degree the student is pursuing. Placements, in general, are offered to students from any course, both undergraduate and postgraduate.
The money that is invested in pursuing the degree is entirely worth it for the quality of education and college experience one gets.
Campus life is great. The campus is clean, well-maintained, and convenient. Students engage in sports and athletics, hang out in the cafeteria and quadrangle. There is also a gym that students may take a membership in.
Overall, it's a great experience.
They have necessary facilities and good infrastructure. There are good quality of benches and a clean class room we have libraries which contain a lot of books and reading matetial in it and also a big campus whith greenery.
I am pursuing mass communication and the my professor are quite good and interactive and help ful our curriculum is always update on time and the study which i am doing has very vast amount of opportunities and very helpful.
The quality of placement is very good and the amount of package is also good and the staf members and the teachers are very supportive. Still dont have any idea about the salary but it offers a very good placement.
It cost 64thousand per semester. Yes it is money worth as they provide all kind of facilities and develop the skills with introducing new software and working on its and also they are helpul in nature and have a supporting hand toward us
I am still in online mode and so do not have any campus experience but yes talking with our senior the campus its good we have lots of fun and also we have fest event helds and also we have lots of fun.
The infrastructure is very good, spacious.basket ball ,badminton courts are there.well maintaind gym also u can see but only for MBA student. The whole campus is under CCTV survelance.,It also has huge canteen which offers diverse cattegory of foods to the students.
faculties are very good, interactive, encouraging.they guide each and every student with proper care.Due to this harsh pandemic situation online classes are going on but faculties conducts many interactive webinar for grooming of the students and make them placement ready.
placements are good, main recruiters are - HDFC BANK,DELLOIT,DABUR,HUL,ADANI WILMER etc. finance avrg package-7.1LPA,marketing-8-9LPA,H.R-5-6 LPA.MORE THAN 90% STUDENT GET PLACEMENT FROM THIS COLLEGE.But this college is good for finance and marketing placements.highest salary package always comes from marketing traits ,which is around 12.5LPA.
It's ROI is good ,students have to invest 12.75 lakh to get a job offer of 7-9 LPA.so It is a good value for money coolege.
campus life is very good, college provides hygenic food, spacious rooms.Dedicated meeting rooms also there.students can hangout in canteen which is huge in size and well maintained.
overall it is a good college to choose for building a sound and prosperous career in near future.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure like library, labs, spacious classrooms and smart boards, and are well maintained and clean. There infrastructure is one of the best thing about this college.
I studied bachelors in management studies. I have constantly loved management. The professor's are fantastic at what they do. They honestly help you apprehend and love what you study. This college is exceptional and i am happy that i decided to study here.
Majority of college students get their interested jobs and that's the one cause why I took admission in this college. The average package of my department is around 4-5lpa. Moreover, I am yet to sit for placements.
Totally valuable as far as money is considered. The fees is affordable. 100% value for money is provided in terms of everything.
Campus life is amazing at Xavier University kolkata, with lots of fun activities and freedom. Overall campus life was great.
That was all from my side. Moreover I hope that you will take the right decision and make you life successful.
Yes all infra are in place. Big classrooms, wth sufficient light and air circulation. Libraries sports centre canteen . Well maintained , clean toilets. access to college from multiple routes. Canteen serves good food.
Excellent faculty. Updated curriculum . Continuous review of academics and students. The standards are high and a very competitive morale develops among students. Frequent evaluation of students with objective of preparing for university as well as career.
The students are usually taking up further post graduation courses as well as competitive courses duch as Chartered Accountancy , costing , mba and so on. Some students opt for jobs post graduation. The placements at this stage is minimum.
Although Being one of the premier colleges in kolkata the course fees were minimum , roughly 15000 if i recall correctly. Controlled by the dedicated representatives of the church the college is a mission.
I attended the morning college starting at 6.10am . The college was over by 9.40 am. Not much activity to engage in other than attending classes. Students were busy with studies only. Teachers and support staff were excellent.
Very lucky to have studied in xaviers. The focus and goals in life changed and rather than choosing a job after graduation i chose to take up higher studies. Completed my chartered accountancy course.
Yes my college has all the required facilities. Livingspace is clean enough. The canteen established in the college which provides snacks and food to the children are hygienic enough and even the support staff our kind library Sports Centre hostels etc are all good
B. Com(H) Excellent quality of teaching Yes i think it is up to date even the recent developments in the field and even the amendments brought in due to covid-19 all are updated in our study curriculum and we are made job ready
Ya the placements offered are good enough The placement process is easy process is easy and pleasant for the students the college and the college staff are very supportive the companies which come m offer jobs to the student are well established enough.
At around 50k per year No i am not satisfied more facilities personalised guidance should be enabled.
Students can engage in all types of sports they want to. College even has a centralised air conditioned library for us. The teachers and support staff are kind and helpful and guide the students in a proper manner. Yes it can handle all kinds of emergency situations which crops up.
I studied at the Park Street Campus. The infrastructure of the College is average. The basic amenities are met but the facilities in terms of having sports grounds and state of the art classrooms / laboratories are missing
The teachers at the Park Street Campus were generally well reputed. However there were some teachers who were strictly below par in terms of subject knowledge which forms the basic criteria for a Institute with great reputation.
In terms of a Bachelor's Degree there were certain good companies coming in for hiring however the percentage of students getting placed was pretty low. The reason might have been most students at St. Xavier's have higher educational goals and do not opt for a job yet certain willing students were also left behind.
The cost of pursuing is degree at St. Xavier's is pretty reasonable considering it's national reputation. There is certainly room for improvement and with the new New Town campus opening with much better infrastructure I can certainly see the value for money going up.
The campus life is enigmatic with multiple student clubs and councils actively organizing competitions and fests. Students can be assured of personality development and networking at the buzzing campus.
Yes, this college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. the facilities in classrooms libraries sports centers and hostels for eg. WiFi, smart boards are well-maintained and they have an e-book facility as well. The living spaces are clean, not sure about the canteen as the college is closed due to pandemic, we never got to try that.
B.com HONS, because this college has a morning facility which helps to utilize the rest of the day more effectively eg. for CA students or students who has to attend other part-time works or courses. Yes, the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.
I am not sure about that as I m still in 1st sem.............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
Rs. 100000 (approx) . Teaching is effective and easy to understand. Teachers go below avg. level to meet the student's understanding. Many opportunities to understand the real world better while being embraced by the university. etc
many cultural events take place throughout the year and helpful faculty members
The infrastructure could be better but it's not the worst of all. The canteen is a place to improve. The library is one of the best and the classroom could be improved as well. It's really old. The washrooms is another place where improvement can be done.
The academics is very theoretical and the teachers follow the same teaching standards and methods of the old times. I have also seen discrimination on the basis of marks and classification of first benchers and last benchers.
I cannot comment on this as I am an undergraduate. The requires 200 characters so this is me writing anything just to fill this part. Their is a placement cell in the college but I don't know how effective it is.
The cost is around Rs. 50,000 per year and according to me I am getting enough features for this amount.
Being in the morning section which is all boys, I have the worst campus Life.
No thank you.
