Good, surely will improve a lot in the future

      College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is good (with common room, games room, AC buses for anyone who wants to avail them, sports centres, hostels, computer labs, cafeterias, a separate student WiFi connection, etc) except for the library, it has very peculiar rules along with loads of empty shelves. Highly disappointing for a Xavier’s level university. The campus, however, is spotless clean and very well maintained with separate amenities even in the women’s washroom.

      Academics

I am doing bachelors in English honours and our department has a very good and strong faculty who are well informed and experienced in their field of work. Classes are mostly good and sometimes professors go out of their way to make them better and more progressive than just lecturing and noting.

      Placements

There is a placement cell which allows students to look into internships while studying, along with job placements post graduation. Although, that is all I know of it. The cell caters to the needs of all kinds of students from all kinds of departments when it comes to internships and you can ask them to look into specific internship programmes you are interested in.

      Value for Money

Considering the infrastructure provided by the college with the exception of the library and the course I opted for, I would consider it value for money.

      Campus Life

Campus is very poor because the rules and regulations are very strict and students are hardly allowed outside the classroom. My course has five hours of classes per day, five days a week and attendance is given top priority. Students cannot leave the classroom during class hours and cannot even sit according to their own will inside the classroom, we are required to sit roll numbers wise. In a nutshell, there is hardly any campus life at all.

      Others

If you go to college thinking it’s a school and not a college, you will not be frustrated or disappointed. The professors are friendly and supportive, and the students are not unfriendly and don’t bully.

The quality of teaching is very good, the teachers are qualified with doctorate degree. maximum use of technology is done to educate student well. Yes the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.

      Placements

The placement provide over here is best of all. Students get to go to biggie company like deloitte, exide , infosys etc. Placement cell help students and make the process a lot simpler and easy. Average salary offered here is 4 lacs per annum.

      Value for Money

      College Infrastructure

Classic old style buildings and looks epic. Each and every entity in college has been named after a significant saint. All the classrooms are well equipped, WiFi on campus and library has e-resource center as well. There are cyber rooms, departmental wise offices, halls and auditoriums which speaks legacy. The spaces are clean and tidy.

      Academics

I am studying Master's in Commerce here because I want to pursue lecturership thereafter. The quality of teaching is high class, extremely extremely articulated professors who help you any how. The curriculum is absolutely updated and the college makes you job ready with all it offers.

      Placements

The Placements are impressive and the placement cell here is very active. About 35 companies come here every year. Companies like Deloitte, EY, TCS, Exide, etc come here on regular basis. Although I don't seek to enter the Corporate life but still I can convey what I know. The packages offered are decent enough which ranges from 3 Lacs PA to 12 Lacs pa.

      Value for Money

The college's fee structure is of around 27000 for every 3 months and around 120000 per year. At times I feel that the fees is a bit high but the kind of exposure and everything that college offers is beyond money. Students learn a lot by engaging in the activities.

      Campus Life

There are a lot of societies and cells who conduct a lot of competitions and events on the campus. Participating in them is a learning experience and helps you build your network as well. My favourite spot on the campus is the green benches where I have done my assignments and homeworks. People are really busy out there and it's a worthwhile Experience.

      Others

You must be smart with the time management, because attendance is stringent here.
