Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports University (MBSPSU), Patiala, is dedicated to sports education and all related fields. All admissions select talented students who are academically sound and good at sports activities.

Various programmes at MBSPSU have different eligibility criteria. Most of the undergraduate programmes require a candidate to have completed his/her 10+2 education from a recognised board, while in the case of the postgraduate programme, a relevant bachelor's degree is required. MBSPSU UG courses Admission Process

B.P.E.S (Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports):
The total intake is 50 students. For admission, one must qualify for the Physical Fitness Test (PFT). The merit list shall be prepared based on academic performances and sports achievements.

B.A. (Bachelor of Arts):
The total intake is 50 seats. The MBSPSU admission shall be based on inter-se merit among candidates of different categories according to the university criteria.

B.Sc Sports Sciences:
30 seats are available. The MBSPSU admission process seems likely to follow the general undergraduate admission procedures.

MBSPSU PG courses Admission Process

PG Diploma in Yoga:
30 seats. MBSPSU admission based entirely on merits list.

PG Diploma in Sports Coaching:
30 seats. The MBSPSU admission is most likely based on the under graduation qualification and sports experiences.

M.P.E.S (Master of Physical Education and Sports):
Intake of 50 students. MBSPSU admission most probably based on performance in undergraduate level and sports achievements.

M.Sc. Yoga:
20 seats. MBSPSU admission criteria may include relevant bachelor´s degree and possibly entrance test or interview.
