60 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Robotics and Automation shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of five years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned offered by The Neotia University, Kolkata.
Eligibility Criteria
A Master’s degree in any branch of Engineering, or relevant science subjects with ≥ 55% marks or minimum ‘B’ grade in the UGC 7-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) for the unreserved category of students and ≥ 50% marks or equivalent grade for reserved category students.
Admission Details
Applications shall be invited through announcements by the university. The interested applicant/s may apply for admission to Ph. D program in Agriculture at the Registrar's Office of the university. The R&D committee of the university shall get in touch with the Controller of Examination Section to conduct the admission entrance test (written mode). In the entrance test, 50% of questions shall be set from the research methodology and the other 50% of questions shall be set from relevant subjects. The qualified candidates shall be called for the personal interview, the candidate may be considered for enrollment in the Ph. D program in Science and Technology of the university.
