UPES MA Admissions 2026
ApplyRanked #45 Among Universities in India by NIRF | 1950+ Students Placed, 91% Placement, 800+ Recruiters
Hey aspirant,
It is difficult for you to get admission in Central University of Karnataka for BA English hons. as the minimum cut off marks to be eligible to apply for admission is 35 for OBC category.
As you have scored less than 35 your chances seem less for the admission of the said course under the said category.
Hope this helps,
All the best!
Hello Teja !
Congratulations for the score!!
The cutoff for boys in BiPC is 9355 and the cutoff for girls in BiPC is 9418.
The cutoff for boys in MPC is 39719 and the cutoff for girls in MPC is 40579.
So, if you are from MPC background you may get the seat for sure. If you are from BiPc background, there is less possibility to get the seat.
However, these results are based on previous year statistics.
You can still try in other colleges as well.
All the best!
Hope it helps!!
Hey Vibhor,
Congratulations for scoring so well in Malviya Entrance Test!
Last year's cut off by rank of the first round for Computer Science Engineering branch for General Open category candidates was 358.
As you have ranked even lesser than the cut off, your chances are pretty high for admission in the first round itself.
I must mention that cut offs vary from year to year depending on a number of factors like, number of candidates appearing for the entrance, total number of applicants, difficulty level of entrance, last year's cut off trends etc.
Hope this helps,
All the best!
Dear student!
Your Marks are average. So 50% chances are there I would suggest you to apply for counselling. If you won't get admission in 1st list then don't be disheartened. you will get admission in 2and or 3rd merit list. So go for counselling.
Thank you!
Feel free to ask.

hello aspirant,
1- MSU, BARODA
Placements: Almost 90% of the students from our course got placed. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, etc., visit our campus for placements. Our college does not focus on an internship. Our college prefers more on assignments, so there are not enough placements. Not even a single product based company visit our college for placements.
Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, library and girls room. There is a separate hall for our department for discussion on some topics, etc. The hostel facilities are not that good. Quality of the food served in the canteen is not good enough or hygienic.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are qualified, but they are not enough to make us understand properly. Their teaching quality is average. But the main point is they are not focusing on practical aspects, which is the main problem. Some courses are not relevant to today's technology, and they are very old.
2- CPIT:-
Placements: The placement are great. The placement cell is good and has a lot of experience and expertise in the field. The placements are 100%. Top recruiters are Byju's, GSFC, Indian Navy, Crest data systems, TCS, L&T, Infosys, etc. The average package varies between 3-4 LPA and the lowest goes to 1.8 and the highest varies between 10-15 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the best that a college can provide to its students. The environment is quite peaceful with greenery and lush gardens gives you a great ambience. The hostels are big enough and the hostel for girl is inside the campus while the hostel for boys is outside the campus premises. The hostel food is not great but it's healthy and good.
Faculty: The faculty of engineering and technology are great and generous enough to clear your doubts and provide you with newly edited curriculum according to industrial requirements and faculty are always ready to provide you with solutions other than the curriculum and guide you in the best possible way and have great expertise and experience in the field.
HOPE IT HELPS!

Good Luck
Amazing learning experience. You can explore genetics. The campus life is also good. Teachers are good at communication and expertise at the subject. The equipment and laboratory infrastructure is amazing. You can master required skills here.
Outstanding facilities, including WiFi in the library, lecture rooms, and laboratories. Beautiful surroundings and tidy living quarters. Every classroom has a smart board for interactive learning. Infrastructure and education was in high level.
Yes madras University has a huge campus, and surprisingly all the classes have lights and fans which is surprising. It has mediocre canteen facilities, the campus is moderately clean but it could be cleaner. Parking facility is available for staff as well students.
