MBA Self Finance - Batch of 2027-01-01
Academics
NAAC A++ accredited with a CGPA of 3.59, this esteemed university offers over 230 courses across 87 departments. Renowned for advanced research in fields like nanotechnology and biophysics, it has produced five Indian presidents. Its pioneering autonomous college system provides modern curricula, and the IDE offers a common syllabus for flexible learning. Student reviews highlight helpful faculty and affordable fees, though some note occasional pressure and unhygienic conditions. Ranked 38th among universities by NIRF 2025 and a UGC "University with Potential for Excellence," it maintains a strong academic reputation.
College Infra
A prestigious historic university with a strong academic reputation, it holds an NAAC A++ grade, enhancing the value of its affordable degrees. However, placement support is inconsistent—on-campus median packages are modest (~₹4.2-6.5 LPA), and distance-mode students receive no placement assistance.
Placements
NAAC A++ grade (effectively a 4-star rating) signals solid academics, but placement performance is average. The median package for PG students is around INR 4.2-4.8 LPA, with roughly 37% of eligible students placed. High-volume recruiters include TCS, Accenture, and Cognizant.

MBA - Batch of 2026-01-01
Academics
Pursuing MBA Marketing via distance-fits my Chennai sales job perfectly, lets me upskill without quittting. Materials are crisp on branding & analytucs; video lectures clear, profs responsive on forums. Curriculum covers core well, includes Reels & influencer trends post-ban. Paired with live projects, feels job- ready. Solid choice!
College Infra
College infra is decent: big classrooms with fans & blackboards, some projectors, Labs have working PCs & scopes. Library full of books, few e-desks. Cricket ground, basketball, badminton ok. Hostels 4-sharing, clean, WiFi (slow evenings). Mess food fresh & hygienic. All used, maintained well.
Campus Life
Campus is compact in Chennai suburbs-best: green lawns, open canteen chats; worst: cramped parking, rainy floods. Clubs for dance, quizzes, fest prep. Students chill, teachers helpful, staff quick. Safe area, 24/7 guards, clinic on call. Handles emergencies fine.
Placements
Placements this year were decent-75% of our MBA batcg got placed. Highest went 18 LPA to a marketing guy in Unilever, average hovered around 8.5 LPA (monthly FMCG & e-con roles). Companies like ITC, HUL. Amazon, Zomato visited. Process was smooth-online aptitude, GD, then interviews; training team prepped us well with mpck sessions & resume help. College was super supportive, no fees for extra classes. Felt worth it
Value For Money
Distance MBA Marketing: Rs. 18k/year. Cheap! Modules sharp on branding, analytics. Videos clear, forums active. Placement cell hooked 75% batch avg 8.5 LPA. Work full-time, study nights-total ROI win
