Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR

Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Details

Admission to different courses of the University shall be based on criteria decided by the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Govt. of Odisha or as decided by the Government.

College Infrastructure

Honestly, the campus is one of the best parts of VSSUT. It’s huge (500+ acres) with lots of greenery, which gives a proper “college feel.” The academic buildings are decent and some have smart classrooms, but not all labs are updated—many still feel outdated. Hostels are the weak point: rooms, bathrooms, and especially mess food are below average and need serious improvement.

College Infrastructure

Beautiful infrastructure. Campus is filled with greenery. Our classrooms are very spacious and all modern technology are included. Our infrastructure is mixture of utkal architecture and modern architecture. Huge auditorium and library is there. Cafeteria is very good, fresh food is provided. Hostel facility is also available.

I love my college (VSSUT, Burla) very much.

College Infrastructure

Yes, my college has all the necessary infrastructures, facilities and equipments. We have the a smart board (The Samsung Flip) in each and every classroom . There is each and every single equipment in the labs to conduct experiments. A large playground is present. Yes, the living spaces are clean and the food available is hygienic.
