Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pariyaram: Admission 2026, Cutoff, Courses, Fees, Placements, Ranking

The only one among these ’new generation’ institutions is the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pariyaram which was started in 2003 at Pariyaram in Kerala, India. It is a co educational college affiliated to the Kannur University with Two approvals of Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The academy has 5 pharmaceutical courses and cover 3 degree level for the total of 414 students enrolments. The institute has faculty members of 26 dedicated professionals who emphasis with student focused and quality education to all the students. The specialisation in the pharmaceutical sciences is clearly demonstrated in senate table 6 through the list of offerings from undergraduate to doctors.

The facilities at the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences make students socially and academically resourceful in their productivity for enhanced growth. The campus has separate hostels for girls and boys to maintain a clean and proper living environment. Among all social facilities, special attention deserves a library of the institute, which contains a rich collection of literatures, publications, and information materials. Students are privileged to have the Academy of Medical Sciences Central Library which is well-known to be amongst the best in Medical college library in Kerala. For group activities, campus features comfort and various opportunities for those willing to spend time to improve their physical shape and health, including a gym and various sport possibilities. Football field, volleyball court, basketball court, tennis court, and a cricket pitch are some of the facility available in the sports complex that is built on 36,000 square meters and consists of an athletic track of eight lanes. It also offers practical learning as it possesses large, well equipped research laboratory with sophisticated equipment such as Shimadzu UV spectrometers, digital balance and pH meter. Also, with a classic animal house facility well equipped and managed in line with laid down standard norms, it also provides unique research infrastructure to the institutions.

The Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences provides a wide variety of pharmaceutical courses that suit each of the various sub fields in the discipline. The institute offers 5 full time programmes which includes undergraduate and postgraduate level. In the undergraduate category B.Pharma has a unique position with an approved intake capacity of 60. The postgraduate programmes are numerous and include M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy and Pharmacology. For any group of students who want to pursue an integrated programme, the academy provides a Pharm.D course. All of these programmes are intended to be offered as full time, as this provides the best opportunity for detailed learning and application experience. 

This however should not be a hindrance to any deserving candidate since the admission at the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pariyaram, is comprehensive with regards to merit basis only. It is understood that most of the pharmacy institutes look into the CGPA obtained in the relevant subjects and the Pharmacy entrance test scores.
