Saint Sughar Singh Pharmacy College Etawah is an affiliated college situated at Jaswant Nagar, Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. This institute specialising in pharmacy was set up in the CH Sughar Singh Group of Institutions and deals primarily with the courses offered in the pharmaceutical sciences. It is accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and has approval from the government of India, fulfilling technical standards regarding pharmacy.

Saint Sughar Singh Pharmacy College has state-of-the-art facilities that it has developed in order to support the learning of its tasked students. The central library of 1500 sq ft has developed a collection of more than 2250 books and 15 national and international journals to facilitate a comfortable study environment. Bentham Science Publishers and Science Direct Elsevier are also subscribed to make available international e-journals to students. 

The laboratories of this college are also well furnished as per the norms of AICTE, PCI, BTE, and AKTU, Lucknow, having sophisticated equipment required for practical knowledge of pharmacy. For entertainment, the students of the institute have a large playground for games like cricket and football, plus indoor games facilities and a good gym. The campus has a voluminous cafeteria, boys’ and girls’ hostels, adequate parking space, and a wireless internet connection. 

CH Sughar Singh Pharmacy College at present is providing one main course in the related field of study. The institute offers a two-year D.Pharma course, the details of which are given below. Both of the courses are full-time, and each course has been approved for recruitment of 60 students to fill 120 seats in total for both courses. These courses give the students a broader understanding and practical study of aspects of pharmaceutical sciences in order to fit different positions in the pharmacy industry.

Application Process

Step-wise orderly application process for admission into Acharya Chankya Mahavidyalya Faculty of Pharmacy, Sultanpur, for D.Pharma:

1. Entrance Examination: Candidates are required to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the Board of Technical Education (BTE), Uttar Pradesh. This examination is to test candidates' knowledge in the subjects concerned, as well as their aptitude for pharmaceutical studies.

2. Result Declaration: After conducting the entrance examination, BTE UP will declare the results. Those candidates who would be able to clear the examination would then be eligible for the counselling procedure. 

3. Counselling Registration: The qualified candidates are required to register for the BTE counselling process. This registration usually involves filling up an online application form and paying the requisite counselling fee.

4. Document Verification: During counselling, candidates will submit and verify documents including 10+2 mark sheets, entrance exam scorecard, and other relevant certificates as specified by the Institute.

5. Institute Selection: Candidates may select Acharya Chankya Mahavidyalya Faculty of Pharmacy, Sultanpur, as their preferred institute for the D.Pharma program during counselling.

Degree wise Admission Process

D.Pharma The D.Pharma-Diploma in Pharmacy program is offered by Acharya Chankya Mahavidyalya Faculty of Pharmacy, Sultanpur, as its flagship program. This is a two-year course imparting the basics of pharmaceutical sciences to the students. Admission to D.Pharma is offered strictly on merit basis, with 60 seats available for this course. D.Pharma can be for an applicant who has passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry & Maths (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB).

Admission in the D.Pharma counseling based on the entrance test conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education. Those candidates who clear this entrance test are then called for the BTE counseling wherein they can indicate their preferences among institutes including Acharya Chankya Mahavidyalya Faculty of Pharmacy. This process gives valid assurance of selection in favor of deserving and eligible candidates into the program.
